Office DepotReviews of officedepot.com

Dont shop with them online ever! They take over your card information and put holds on your account and create fraudulent and double charges! They have great deals and offers to save money so if you continue to shop with them, please just do it in person!! This has happen to me twice, I wouldn't risk it again! Customer service also was a waste of time.

BAD BAD BAD, DON'T ORDER FOR DELIVERY; you expect to have your supplies delivered on your hands. Our office is on the second floor; but the Office Depot's Delivery guy left my supplies down stair on the hallway; I called Office Depot Customer Care Center; first able the agent told me my order will be deliver tomorrow, but my boxes were already sitting down stairs, I explained to her about and she said someone will come back tomorrow to take the boxes to the right place ????? I ask also to speak with the Delivery Service Department or Supervisor but Customer Service agent told me unfortunately she can not transfer to a supervisor. So....Where to go if I am paying for delivery service also, or if is deficient their service, they should not provide delivery. I will NEVER order again from Office Depot.

Ordered a Serta office chair on 7/13/19, the price $381.00. It arrived on 7/17/19. Took me about an hour to put together, got the whole thing done and was connecting the cables, and the last cable was about 1/4 of an inch short. I first called Serta, and they told me they would have to order a new chair arm, and it would take about 8 weeks to get it. So I called Office Depot and they wanted me to disassemble the chair, and put in back in the box, and they'd arrange for a pick up, and deliver an other chair. God knows how long that would take. Home Depot has the worst customer service I'v seen in a while.

Everything in these reviews about customer service department and delivery is true. And yes there is a big language barrier.

Worst Customer Service Ever Placed a 700.00 order with the company and received an e-mail slating delivery for June 19th. Despite claiming I could track my message online, I was unable to access any shipping information. On June 19th my product did not arrive, nor did I receive a phone call telling my where my order was. When I called to inquire, I was informed that Office Depot had no idea where my order was, no way to contact the delivery company, and no explanation to why no one called me tell me the status of my order. When I asked them to e-mail me information, I was sent information about someone else's delivery which was sent to Florida. Office Depot took my money, lost my order, and failed to even be able to tell me where they had shipped my purchase. Instead, I was asked to place the same order again and wait another two weeks for delivery.

One of the worst online chat ever!!! Wasted 2 hrs yesterday and 1 hour today. In the end they said that item is out of stock.!!!!! AWESOME OFFICE DEPOT!!! -Shiva

Went into the Office Depot store on South Nova road in Daytona Beach. Talked with the rude manager about returning a chair and purchasing a different one. After finding different chair and returning to the check out lane the manager was no where to be found. An employee arrived to make the return and then purchase off the second chair. He was unable to accomplish the task and a second employee arrived and completed the transaction. DURING THIS EXCHANGE AN INSURANCE POLICY WAS ADDED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. Now I am required to return tom store for refund. I will get noting for my extra time or travel expense. Customer service at the corporate level was no help and told me top go to the store. Lost my business for ever.

placed an order for 150.00 and then rec email to prove myself, phoned them up and they asked for a photo of credit card(last 4 numbers blocked) tried 6 times to email them this each time bouncing back to me, phoned another 2 times to verify the email address and it was correct but still bouncing back I decided to do a fresh order seeing i could not get the verification over to them, this seemed to work and got confirmation and goods del following day. Great or so i though 3 days later got another confirmation that the 1st order was being delivered the following day which i gladly refused and reported to Office Direct, the same day i rec confirmation email saying my £150 would be refunded within 14 days, yesterday the 11th June was 15 days and i chased this up with cust service. I was told that they would push it through and i should have it by the end of the week === 18 days ??? I requested a call from a supervisor and was told i should rec a call the same day, this has not happened and again today still no call from them and still no refund, pretty poor 1st time here last time here.
