I called to speak with a customer representative and as soon as the representative gets on the phone I find he lied about his name. His name was not and is not "JOHN". How he hell are you expected to do business with someone that lies about their own name!!!! Office depot is a joke! The support call was sent to India, I have no problem with the fact that the company does not want to hire Americans especially when selling to Americans but I do have a problem with the Office Depot staff lying about ones name. How I know it was not true? I heard the supervisor or someone behind him call his real name! How the hell can you trust a company when the company has protocols in place so that they are assured to lie to you! I'm not sure I like this company any more.

The worst! Outrageous prices and poor selection. The staff at the store is super friendly but the print department does the lowest quality printing I have ever seen. They must not give their print staff any training at all.

Office Depot is not transparent in their product reviews. I have been in business for over 17 years and I have used OfficeMax in the past, then Office Depot. I purchased an HP printer for $200 on 7/31/18 and it no longer works as of 11/15/19. I wrote an honest review for the Office Depot website and Office Depot rejected the review. They clearly do not want honest reviews of their business or of their customer service. They reject honestly negative reviews. They also refused to provide any discount on a new purchase if I purchased a replacement printer from Office Depot. I will only shop with Staples for my office supplies from now on and my office supply purchases are substantial.

I took a package to Office Depot to mail. They recommended USPS. I paid about $11 to return a dress to an Amazon vendor not on Prime. I was given the tracking number which after two weeks still showing only the postage was created but never received by the postal service. The store takes no responsibility and customer service took over 45 minutes for me to instruct the man how to properly read the postal website tracking information. He put me on hold to call the store for the third time and after 20 more minutes with no answer, I hung up. Basically they STOLE my package and postage.

Updating an online order SHOULD BE easy and convenient. Updating a shipping address for an order placed the same day should not be difficult. AT ALL! If the address cannot be updated on the same day, it should be easy to cancel the order right away and immediately place the order correctly. NONE OF THOSE ARE OPTIONS! Live Chat.....is just that....chat. All they can do is put in a request to make any necessary changes and that could take 4-24 hours. Calling the 800 # is not much better, they too can put in a request to make any necessary changes but it seems they can expedite things a bit. We will see how this turns out.

Wow, wish I would of read reviews for Office Depot before purchasing an item that I never recieved, and got a partial refund for, I would never shop there again. Poor communication and customer service skills and shame on UPS

i needed a headset phone for work. I felt pressure to purchase separate headset and phone when even the salesman wasn't sure it would work. i was told i could bring them back if they didn't. i spent an entire Sunday trying to get them to work. i had to take them back after work the following Monday in a snow storm with slick roads and getting dark. They would not give me my money back, only a "gift" card to the store. i need the money for medical expenses.

Absolutely the worst online purchasing experience I have ever had and that is saying A LOT. I never got the rewards for the item I purchased. I attempted, on two separate occasions, to talk to someone online through the chat feature. Both instances took OVER 40 MINUTES and I never got anywhere. When I finally decided I'd rather just return the items than have to deal with the online people any more they wanted me to wait around to have the package picked up. I have never heard of someone coming to my house to get an item from me. Finally after another 20 minutes back and forth I was able to get a shipping label. Wow! A label? That's almost like a normal business idea! Absolute waste of money, huge waste of my time, not worth the stress or hassle. Office Depot is operating an e-business straight out of 1999.
