Please save yourself a lot of headaches and don't purchase anything at these stores. My husband was trying to be kind and purchased a mouse and wrist rest for me. Unfortunately what I needed was an ergonomic mouse. We drove 20 miles to return our purchase and to purchase the new considerably more expensive mouse. However we entered the store and were treated as if we had the plague and were unkindly told that they were not accepting any returns due to covid 19. I explained that the items were never used and not even removed from the bag. How do I know that the items were not contaminated with covid 19 when they were purchased with their employees handling them. They are more than willing to sell you something when they don't know who may have contaminated the item but they won't take back an item they sold 2 days ago. I will NEVER purchase anything from this chain ever again in this lifetime and will certainly be sure to let everyone I know about how terribly we were treated!!!

I will never order anything from Office Depot again item showed in stock online with free next day delivery charged my account only to find out the next day the item is really on backorder and will take a week to get my money back on my account Office Depot is complete garbage and doesn't care about their customers

I wish I would have checked here BEFORE I wasted so much time! What a great idea...Have a great website/offer products "in stock" & promise free 2 day delivery when you really don't have it! Take someone's money in 90 seconds/maybe order from the supplier/but show your order shipped AND 2 days later actually delivered...then don't answer the phone. My order never got here. That's called a ponzi scheme. So, after 2 days of trying a live chat that no one picks up, sending an email with all the pertinent details that gets a canned "we care" automated email but no response or answers, AND 55 minutes today alone on the phone on hold...I get to talk to someone I can't understand (and she couldn't understand me-I'm a commercial pilot that speaks the King's English). Bottom line, they didn't have the items. When pushed multiple times for a real delivery estimate, "maybe 3 or 4 weeks." We'll see how long it takes to credit my debit card. I will be happy to pass the word to anyone who'll listen! PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR EFFORTS WITH OFFICE DEPOT/OFFICE MAX!

Not even worthy of one star. Order on the 16th, and was told my order would be the 23rd, just received an email saying the product is out of stock, sorry for the inconvenience. Ridiculous

Like everyone else here lately I placed an order on March 11th. It stated 'processing' and that I would receive it March 16th. By March 24th I'd received nothing and it still said 'processing'. I contacted through online chat asking for a refund but the agent just kept saying another employee would check on the item and get back to me. I then received an email stating 'item shipped' with no tracking info... still to deliver March 16th, which had long passed. Within moments I received another email stating the item is 'out of stock' and a refund would be issued. That same day the DEBITED my order total from my account again!! Still no product, still no refund, extra charges taken from my account......... why is Office Depot taking and keeping everyones money for product they don't have??

Will never order anything from them again. I ordered an office chair because it was 20% off and offered with "Next Business Day" delivery. Three business days later it still had not arrived but indicated both "Delivered" and "Returned to Sender" as the status. I waited on hold forever and finally gave up, tried using the online chat - it indicated I was number 59 in the queue, then slowly counted down as time progressed, 52, 48, 35, etc, when it finally reached 1 I watched for a response, then it suddenly changed to "There is no agent available", 45 minutes completely wasted. The next day it still had not arrived so I sat on hold for close to an hour, the agent that finally answered could only tell me that it was delivered, then finally agreed that it must have been returned and is no longer in stock. She offered to find me something similar and found one not on sale and wouldn't give me the same 20% off as the original. I told her to cancel the order and she sent an email confirmation - that was 6 days ago and there is still no credit showing in my account. I called again and sat on hold for an eternity, the agent who finally answered told me it takes a few days to process the refund, then 4-5 days to show in my account, but if it doesn't show up I should call back. In the meantime I ordered something similar from Staples Monday evening and it arrived in perfect condition Tuesday morning. I sent feedback to Office Depot customer service 5 days ago and never heard a response.

I'm ordered a package on behalf of my employer. The package was supposed to arrive today and nothing. I went on the website to track the order and it said it was delivered today. I called the customer service number and the rep told me it couldn't be delivered because it wasn't in stock. Why did it let me order if it wasn't in stock?? I expressed my concern that I received no notification about this and she tells me, and I quote: "Sorry no one satisfied you." Wow. Will never order from them again if it's up to me. Unprofessional and inefficient.

No one knows how to locate a transaction number and cancel a pre-authorization. $500 of mine is tied up in a bogus cc pre-authorization and no one can locate transaction number not store manager not customer service I have spoke to four people. Their register crashed in the middle of my purchase so not my transaction is just lost in no mans land even their own store manager got the run around on the phone for 1 1/2 hrs and still could not locate it. My cc company has to wait 15 business days before they can release pre-auth. I had to use my debit card to complete purchase after being embarrassed and made to feel like my card just didn't have sufficient funds. I am a student and needed new laptop for school but now with Corona virus I can not work and need access to my credit line desperately. I will never shop here again and should of just bought off Amazon wish I could give -star review they don't even deserve one stare. I have been bounced around on phone for two hours store manager another 1 1/2 total of 3 1/2 hrs on phone and no one can tract down transaction number even though it was not a cash transaction it was a cc card. Makes no sense and good luck with getting through to corporate. Worst company ever!!!
