Why isn’t there a no star option for this company. They deserve no stars. Ordered items on Black Friday 2020 sale online. Product had tracking number within days. However, product never was delivered. Multiple emails, text chats and phone calls to Office Depot were made and documented. All they really do is prioritize this “to a higher level of supervisor” . Then follow up with a promise email form Office Depot customer care representative that item will be delivered “tomorrow “. The product never arrived as many days go by. A call from a representative from Dynamex (shipper) confirmed the order and address with promise of delivery next day. No delivery ever made. Even worse, shipper Dynamex placed a ticket to Office Depot to cancel the order. Who does things like this? Neither company, Office Depot or their Shipper Dynamex deserve a star. They both should be going out of business. Shame on both of them.

They deserve to go under. The online ordering platform is the worst. You put in your order and it goes through. You even get a delivery date. Then you get an email that the item is on back order. Every other websites platform will tell you it’s out of stock before you order. What a racket. When you call customer service and talk to “Ron” he says this is perfect normal and starts making sarcastic comments when you tell him this is not how legitimate businesses operate and please keep his sarcastic comment to himself. He hangs up on you and cancels your order. Cancelling the order is just fine but not to tell you he did makes you have to call again and find out what your order status is .... and I will end with my first comment... They deserve to go under!

I wished I would have seen these before I ordered from them.I ordered a desk yesterday. It didn't show up so I waited for someone to eventually answer on chat,.They said they would give it to someone else to find out delivery update and they would contact me.Well that didn't happen and it is 7 p.m. oon the 2nd day staying home and still no delivery. I would like to know how many days do I have to stay home and hope that it will show up?

Why are there no zero ratings for companies that deserve it? I bought a Realspace Mezza Collection Computer desk from my neighborhood Office Depot. Big mistake: I should have read reviews on the company before buying from them. The product arrived as scheduled and I spent about 3 hours putting it together. I am past 65 years old and twisting my body into awkward positions to setup a desk is not my idea of fun. I found out at the end of this exercise in contortion that the desk was defective. Four structural rods that support the tempered glasses arrived with the holes drilled in the wrong places. Also, the wrong bolts were sent for the holes. For my purpose, the desk was absolutely useless. Then I called Customer Service. CS wanted me to spend another 3 hours to disassemble the desk and return it to Office Depot. I will not. If they sent a defective product they should be responsible for the pain and labor that it takes to return it. It is not a box of crayons from Amazon; it weighs well over 100 lbs and I will rather have the dump truck pick it up than expend more energy getting it to Office Depot

They don't deserve 1 star, but it won't let me!! Customer Service and Delivery is a NIGHTMARE! Bought a desk online on the Black Friday sale. Was supposed to arrive on 12/3/20. Did not come, so contacted Customer Service on Friday, 12/4/20. They said, "I checked the order details and I am very sorry your order was not able to be delivered on the scheduled delivery date. Unfortunately, we had more deliveries than expected on this route yesterday and the driver ran out of time. I see that the order will be delivered to you today by 5pm". Still no desk. Contacted them again and they PROMISED it would arrive the next day, Saturday. I waited all day on Saturday, 12/5/20 and it still did not come. I contacted Customer Service around 6:00 pm and now they tell me they do not deliver on weekends. She gave me a $25 credit for my trouble because I told them I spent the whole day waiting for the delivery. She now told me it would arrive on Monday, 12/7. Well, still no desk, and I again contacted Customer Service and they said it will arrive by 5:00 pm. Later that evening, I received an email from Customer Service stating, "We have contacted the carrier regarding this order and since there is no response from them. We have processed a credit for this order as we do not have an option to reship it at this time." Now, they are wanting me to place a brand new order. Yea, RIGHT!!! Never again will I deal with a company so inept on servicing their customers. Office Depot used to be dependable, but now.... well... just file bankruptcy! Your customers are leaving!!!!

Keeping this as simple as possible (that's not possible): 1. I wanted a specific chair which was on sale. I missed the sale and settled for a different chair. I order that alternate chair. 2. It is only a day later and I see that the chair I wanted is back on sale so I see if it is possible to cancel the first order. I talk to Customer Service and I am told to just buy the chair that I want which is also on sale for $99 and she would cancel the other order. 3. I buy the second chair and I am told that she cannot cancel the order because it is too late. Now I have two chairs: $198 before tax and warranty is added. 4. I speak with maybe 5 other reps through chat about this. I am told that my order for the first chair cannot be cancelled several times and so I decide that I can just keep both and that if I want to return it, I will just take it back to the store. I ask them not to cancel any of my orders and that it is fine. 5. My chat conversation is ended prematurely 3 times by three different customer service reps because they do not want to handle the issue even after I made their lives easier by asking them not to cancel anything and to just tell me why my deliveries are late. 6. Eventually after speaking to the 4th person, someone tells me that the delivery was unsuccessful and that they sent the items back to the warehouse. I had also found an email soon after being told this which said that they would make a second attempt at delivery. One of the people I spoke to said they would make a note for the delivery person to leave the package regardless of no one being home (at my request) because I work and could not be home at the time they may deliver. 7. I assume all is well and I look at my tracking and I get a couple emails immediately telling me that my orders were both cancelled. At this point I am pissed and wondering what is going on. One of the first 3 people tried to tell me that they were going to cancel my orders since the delivery failed and that they were going to give me my money back but I urged them not to bother my orders. Apparently they did anyway....They also cancelled the chair that I originally wanted which made absolutely no sense at all..... 8. Now I am more than pissed off and I decide to contact office depot through email. Again they are no help and continue to tell me that my order was cancelled and that I was credited for one of the orders.....NOT SURE WHY ANYTHING WAS CANCELLED AND STILL NOT SURE WHY THE SECOND DELIVERY ATTEMPT NEVER HAPPENED....NOT SURE WHY I WAS ONLY CREDITED FOR ONE CHAIR IF I ORDERED TWO.... 9. Just now I was on the phone with a rep hoping to get a real answer. She was just as useless. She tried to tell me alternate chairs that I could buy AT FULL PRICE. I asked her if they sent me this alternate chair, would they be giving it to me for the sale price I paid at $99 for the chairs that I ordered the first time? She puts me on hold about 3 times to "check her notes" and finally tells me that the system would not let her give me the chair for the price that I paid for the others and that I can just reorder the alternate chair which would be $249.99...........A price higher than the highest priced chair that I wanted at regular price...The chair I wanted was regular price $229 and the other was $209. Both of which I supposedly bought and several of the reps tried to tell me to buy them again (at regular price) when they were still in stock. None of the reps mentioned giving me the chairs at the discount price......which is why I refused to do that. 10. So Now I'm not sure what to do. The chair that I wanted initially is "out of stock" now so I asked the phone rep why they cannot just send me a chair when they are back in stock for the price I paid at $99. She says that the chairs will not ever be back in stock and that this was the last time that they were going to be available......So pretty much Office Depot wasted my time and their useless customer service reps succeeded in messing up my orders which I need for a special occasion (NOT CHRISTMAS). They were supposed to be delivered on the first which would have been perfect. I will make sure to post my experience wherever possible because there was NO reason why this needed to happen. I will be making sure to call them daily until I receive all of my money back too because so far I haven't received anything and they have not mentioned a credit for the second chair yet in which that order was also cancelled.... Don't waste your time dealing with them because they will just end up wasting your time for you and possibly your money too.

Extremely Extremely bad service.. I placed two foamboard orders which was supposed to be delivered on 2nd which was very important for our special occasion, bt never received. I contacted customer thrice & raised request a refund bt have received any response for mail.. If it can’t be delivered on time why do they mention it, nor contact if its late. please don’t plce any order with them they are the worst i have ever seen, Wish could give Zero rating to them

I ordered a cooker on 11/27/20, on 11/28/20 I received an email telling me my item had been shipped. On 12/06/20 I called office depot, because the tracking number they gave me for UPS was not showing any updates. Customer service told me that they sent an email, to the vendor, but they never followed thru to see if order had shipped. I was told on 12/06/2020 that they would have UPS pick up package and that I should receive update same day, that was a lie. I made a second phone call and was told to expect an update on 12/07/2020. I may have to cancel this order, because at this point I don't trust this company to do the right thing. UPDATE: cooker never arrived I cancelled order Dec 14th 2020.
