Purchased a graphics card from Office Depot. Shipping time went from 5 days to 33 days once I clicked purchase. My CC was charged at the time of purchase. The item remained available online for another 1 1/2 weeks. 33 days came and went, no card. Office Depot customer service swore to me that they took care of it, the card existed (I asked several times if it ever existed) they gave me a priority # and said they would rush the card. 36 hrs later I was sent a email stating the order was canceled and that I would get my money back (still waiting) In those 33 plus days waiting for a card that didn’t exist, graphic cards have all but doubled in price. How many others fell for this scam I wonder? They held my money until they couldn’t anymore? I also bought a hdmi-mini DisplayPort adapter for that video card the day after online purchase from my local Office Depot and am now stuck with it because if return policy. I normally shop Newegg, Amazon for tech and learned a lesson from this... Do Not Trust Office Depot!

Awful experience with officedepot.com. Found a wooden file cabinet I was looking for at office depot online. Product had a better price than Amazon so I ordered it. About 3 days after the order was place I got shipping information and when I clicked the details it said "Carton missing at receiving". I waited a few days for that to change, but it didn't. I inquired from customer service and then said that the message just wasn't updating but it was on schedule to be delivered on 2/11. That would be 2 weeks later. I waited. On 2/11 the status hadn't changed and the product was late. The CSR said "weather problems" caused the delay and they updated me with a 2/12 delivery date. Didn't come on 2/12. 2/15 was a holiday, so on 2/16 I checked again. Spoke with another person who sent me a response - WORD FOR WORD like the response I received previously. It said "weather problems caused a delay and they will update me with a new date". Finally that was enough. Somethings up and nobody's getting to the bottom of it. The message still says "Carton missing at receiving". I think it's lost and nobody is trying to fix it. Anyway, cancelled the order for a refund. Now it's 3 weeks later and I ordered it from another vendor - for a better price by the way. Let's see if I get this one or the refund for that matter.

We went to OfficeDepot with the intention of purchasing an office chair. We chose the Fennington high back chair for $209.99, and took it to the cashier. She said they didn't have any in stock and would have to order it. However, the price online was $229.99 and she couldn't change it. After arguing with her about it, because the pricetag said $209.99, she insisted there was nothing she could do. I refused to pay an extra $20 for the chair just on principle. I took a picture of the tag, and went home and ordered it from Amazon for $130!

Purchased a file cabinet online and had the option of saving 5% and picking it up at the store or wait an extra day and have it delivered. I went with the delivery. Thursday came and went, then Friday did as well. Monday morning I did a live chat with an agent, who checked into it and promised it would be delivered that day. Around 1pm, a person from a local delivery company texted me and asked if I'd be home on Wednesday for a delivery. The local delivery person called me back on Tuesday and asked if I'd received the "product" yet, to which I told her no. She then asked what it was that I bought, so they could make sure they loaded the right thing in the truck for my Wednesday delivery. Their free next business day delivery took over a week for me to get. I can't trust them for my small business needs.

After waiting for 2 months and not wanting to buy from another vendor, they suddenly came back and said sorry the chair you ordered was damaged

Beware of buying sparking water at Office Depot. My son bought me bottled Ozark sparking water x 240 bottles. Upon opening the first bottle , I noticed that it didn't sizzle , opened the next bottle, same - didn't sizzle and so on..... I found out that all the bottles had expired on 5/24/2020 !!!! That's 7 months from the date my son ordered them . The merchandises were bought on 1/24/21. It proved that these product had been sitting in their warehouse even before the expiration date. DON'T EVER BUY BOTTLED WATER FROM Office Depot !!!

Is there a -1 for this? Best I could do is give a “1” star! Ordered a filing cabinet. Horrible online with trying to apply a discount they offered to me. When applying the coupon it automatically opened another tab and said I had nothing in my cart. So then I found my opened tab with my 1 item in it and went to apply the coupon only to be told I’ve already used it??? Such convenience of online shopping. So, I had to go into the store which the man there was very helpful. Got the filing cabinet delivered last nite and it’s damaged. And I don’t think it was the delivery man but came that way from their warehouse as the box was not damaged. I called customer service today and “all I wanted” was get a replacement that was not damaged. Same exact item! Oh...they can’t do that! My options were a refund check as I paid cash...and will have to wait 2-4 weeks for it...seriously? Or I can get a gift card which means I will have to use it in some way, shape, or form there if I were to get another damaged filing cabinet...now my cash is a gift card and I’m stuck spending “my” cash at their store. By the time I was getting towards the end of my call with customer service I decided on waiting the 2-4 weeks for my refund check as I will NEVER shop there again! Horrible customer service and return polices. I would NEVER recommend shopping there because of my experience. There are plenty of stores to shop for a filing cabinet and this isn’t a store for me with those kinds of policies. They took my cash in a nano second and now wait 2-4 weeks to get it back? Can’t deliver a replacement that’s not damaged? Nope never again!
