I tried to order an expensive Epson…
I tried to order an expensive Epson Ecotank printer and the website promised it would be delivered in three days. Three days later I got a call from "customer service" which is based somewhere that english is not the primary language, saying my order was on "hold" and to call back with a reference number. I called and was routed to a voice mail system. Three days later someone called whom I couldn't understand and I cancelled the order. (Credit card had PLENTY of credit and never could get an answer as to why it was "on hold") DONE with Office Depot. Epson should know that they are horrible at selling their products.

Just say no to Office Depot!
I placed an order for the office I work for on August 6, 2021. I ordered five items. Three of the items were to be delivered together and the other two were going to be sent separately. I received the two separately sent items as they came via UPS. The other three were to be delivered by Office Depot on Monday, August 9, 2021. I received an email notification that they had attempted to deliver my order and that our business was closed. There were four people in our office at that time, no one tried to deliver anything. I called customer service and explained to them that I thought the delivery driver was trying to deliver to the wrong place as our address sometimes gets confused with another address. Don't ask me why as they are totally different street names only the number part is the same. The other address is a vacant office. I was told they would note the account. Same thing happened on August 10, 2021. Got an email saying tried to deliver and we were closed. There were six people in our office. I called customer service back and told them that either the delivery driver is a liar or is just stupid. I was told that my issue would be escalated and that I would get a call from a manager. Never happened. I did receive and email after I left from the employee I spoke with saying it would be taken care of. Now yet again today, August 11, 2021, it happened again. Seven people in our office. I emailed the customer service rep and told her to cancel my order, refund my money immediately and that I would never shop Office Depot again. This is ridiculous. I don't have time to deal with all these issues as I am trying to do a job.

I tried to buy something on their website but payment was declined even though our business card was charged. There was nothing wrong with our card because we made other purchases without any problems. Anyways, I contacted their customer support but they were so useless, lmfao. I would never buy from here again for my business.

Appallingly unprofessional
I left my old laptop with Office Depot tech staff after I purchased a Lenovo IP31 so they could load new software and transfer data from old to new. A day later I got a message that my laptop was ready to be picked up, I went and picked it up and the next morning I spent some time trying to figure out why I couldn't find any documents, photos, or other saved files. My old laptop had a problem that apparently resulted in all my documents and photos being deleted but no one from Office Depot thought to mention that to me until I called trying to figure out why I couldn't find anything on my new laptop. The ultimate response was the verbal version of a shoulder shrug.

Dear Management, WEED OUT "BAD APPLES"
Dear Management,
My name is Vernon Deck
I have been a long time customer and almost exclusively purchase my office needs in your store, and brought goodies during the holidays.
Please let me explain my utmost DISAPPOINTMENT with my most recent visit. Until now I have only Praised your staff, that has dramatically changed with that visit. Actually it transpired over two visits.
On July 8, 2021 I came into the Roseville store #928 about 8:30 pm to print digital photos ordered by the Placer County Superior Court to produce and file by July 9, 2021.
Malcom helped me find them by, date, and I sent one file over from my phone. I appreciated his help so he could produce what the court requested of me. The second and third files would not send at about 8:40 p.m., and we tried several times to push them through. Marie came into the print center after the first file sent. She did not say a word on y stood by with a 1/2 smile on her face as Malcom and I struggled to resize and resend the images, but we had no internet connection. He recommended that I go home to access through my modem. Marie was right there, no other customers or staff were near. Malcom said he was in at opening and would complete the printing then.
I went home and tried to send several times without success.
Then...... it dawned on me, Marie had turned off the stores internet connection, came to be amused as Malcom wasted employee time and I became frustrated attempting to push the pics.
On the morning of July 9, 20021, I tried again about 6:30 a.m. but they wouldn't go through. I checked again about 8:25 a.m. and they had SENT. I called Malcom immediately and he said he he just saw they came over and he would print them right away, but to give him till about 11 a.m. when I could come pick them up. I asked if Marie was in again, he said '"no". I didn't get back to the store till 1:20 p.m. running to get things to the court by 2 p.m. before the court closed. Malcom said he had not printed the job. Now he seemed to stall asking a lot of questions, and juggling a few walk-ins. This didn't seem like him, was he being told . It was about 2:10 p.m. when I inserted the photos into my exhibits, paid and raced to the court, very stressed and hoping there was some slight chance I'd meet my deadline. On Fridays the court used to close an hour early, due to COVID. Hours must have changed again recently, because when I got inside it was evident that the clerks' windows were still open. I did get the documents in, barely, but they were in!
When I got home I went through the pics I had just turned in, they were darker than my photos, some quite a bit, and appear to have been darkened, was that part of the stalling?
Now I am getting angry looking back at Marie's apparent games with her employee, and with me your customer. My transactions would have been completed on July 8 for inputting, and printed first thing in the morning as I was told until the internet was cut off. Marie's attitude to mess with customers and employee's heads should be known by corporate On a simply human level... this is wrong! On a business level... NO CUSTOMER should be harassed like this....INTENTIONALLY. I'm old enough to know this is NOT good customer service or employee appreciation, and will ruin your staff, then your company. I'm certain I am not the only person who's felt this with her.
LET ME KNOW WHEN SHE'S FIRED, I'd love to come back, and bring my friends, besides Your employees deserve better too AND CORPORATE NEEDS TO WEED HER OUT!

Never use Office Depot again
I wanted to buy a couple of items for my home office including a mat for my office chair and a monitor. In both cases, I did comparison shopping for item price, shipping costs and availability. I was willing to pay a little extra to be able to pick it up in store rather than wait a day or two for it be shipped to me. As always seems to be the case, Office Depot came up with the worst price and it wasn't even close but I was going to pay more for the convenience. They didn't have either item in stock once I attempted to order it on-line even though the site originally showed the items in stock. Frustrated, I moved on to buy what I needed from someone else. Based on other reviews I've read, they have difficulty shipping the correct items to customers. Combine that with awful prices compared to their competitors selling the exact same thing and inability to correctly stock their stores or update their website with actual inventory amounts and I just don't understand why anyone would ever buy stuff from them. I guess if you want to just donate your excess money to them, they might be worth shopping at since you will end up paying them more than elsewhere.

print center sucks.
I recently went to Office Depot in Valdosta Georgia to get something printed. I was told that I can no longer send an email with my files to have them print it on quality paper I’d have to submit it online and since it was after 2 PM it will be the next day I can get it printed or I can use the self-service machine. I use the self-service machine only to get streaks on my print and when I spoke to the representative about the streaks on my print she say oh well that’s the self-service machine it gets serviced once a month. if you want it printed on quality you have to submit it online. Why would I submit something online to get it tomorrow when I need it today? Since when did it become normal for consumers to have to go in and do their own work and settle for less quality at a professional establishment? Office Depot always boast about quality prints and things and that’s great but why do I have to do it myself now and why can’t I get the same quality print that I would get if a rep done it? I am highly pissed off that my documents have streaks on it and the only thing I can be told is is corporate says you have to submit it and it will be tomorrow before I can print it although the printers were not running she’s not doing any orders or any work why couldn’t she print my stuff in the store? This officially sucks! I will no longer print at Office Depot! I’d rather order online a week in advance and wait for them to ship to me from some other company!.
