One of the bolts stripped out when I tried to put it in. My husband had to tap it out and put a different one in. It was in the base plate for the seat. I also thought this chair reclined. It doesn't.

Regarding the recline function, the L2 is designed to recline from 90° to 135°. If your chair is not reclining, there may be an issue with the adjustment setting or the mechanism itself.

I’ve been using the OdinLake O3 Ergo Butterfly 753 for a while now, and overall I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars. There are definitely some things this chair does very well, but there are also a couple of issues that prevent it from being a truly great ergonomic chair for me.
First, the positives. The chair is very well built and clearly designed with long hours of sitting in mind. The materials feel premium, and the FlexBreath mesh keeps things cool even during long work sessions. The unique butterfly split-back design and the overall ergonomics are thoughtful, and many adjustments are easy to access through the controls integrated into the armrests.
However, there are two things that significantly affect my experience.
1. Lumbar support is too weak
For me, the biggest issue is the lumbar support. The mesh in the backrest gives in too much and doesn’t provide the firm support I expected. I weigh about 194 lbs, so I’m certainly not a particularly heavy user, but the lower back support still feels too soft. The chair’s design is supposed to adapt to your posture, but in my case it feels more like it collapses slightly rather than holding the natural curve of the spine.
I knew before purchasing that there isn’t much adjustability specifically for the lumbar area, but I honestly didn’t expect the mesh to flex this much. Since lumbar support is one of the most important ergonomic features for me, this ends up being a noticeable drawback. I really wish there were a way to make the lumbar support more prominent or firmer.
2. Backrest height adjustment doesn’t stay locked
The second issue is the backrest height adjustment. The chair offers multiple height positions, which is great in theory. However, in practice, the setting doesn’t always stay locked in place. If I shift around in the chair or adjust my sitting position, the backrest sometimes pops out of the selected setting and drops back down to the lowest position.
This happens often enough that it becomes quite annoying during daily use.
Final thoughts
The OdinLake O3 Butterfly 753 has a lot going for it: high-quality materials, breathable mesh, a stylish design, and a wide range of adjustments. It’s clearly a premium chair with some clever ergonomic ideas.
That said, lumbar support and stability in the backrest height adjustment are critical features for an ergonomic chair, and unfortunately those are the two areas where this chair falls short for me. If those issues were improved, this chair could easily be a 4- or even 5-star product.
For now, it’s a good chair with potential, but not quite the ergonomic experience I was hoping for.

Disappointed
No instructions included with shipment which was disappointed given cost but they remember to pack gloves??? After placing order found out footrest on back order. Received about 10 days after chair. One hole as misaligned which was a nightmare to get screw tightened during assembly. Cool looking chair but won’t buy again.

Frustrating
Love the chair but my order took more than a month. Their 213 area code Google phone was useless even after leaving multiple messages. I finally got a response after sending emails .. it was frustrating.
