I have been taking my Blue Crown Conure to OCVH and Dr. Warren Briggs for more than 12 years and would never go anywhere else. The staff is always courteous and professional. Dr. Briggs is fabulous and my Conure is very comfortable being handled by him. Best place for any pet.

my 9 year old daughter had her guinea pig for less than a week. We brought her to Ocean County Vet Hospital for a runny nose and sneezing. The vet we saw spoke directly to my daughter. He knew it was her pet and he discussed her treatment as well as how to handle, feed and care for the pet. He walked into the room and introduced himself to me as Dr. Godlac (spelling?) and he introduced himself to my daughter with his first name. I was extremely impressed with him and the office staff.

My pet is always treated very careful, the entire staff is extremely professional, and extremely helpful, kind, friendly, I will always want my pet to be taken care at OCVH. Thank you all at OCVH for the wonderful service.

Since you asked, I'll tell you. I requested an appointment for a rabies shot for my greyhound. The Dr. came in, did a cursory exam including taking my dog's temperature, then gave her the rabies shot. The bill was $29 for the shot and $63 for the"wellness" exam. She didn't need the exam. I didn't ask for the exam. My dog was examined less than six months previously for a baseline. I paid $63 for something that was completely unnecessary. My dog will need two different vaccinations in about 5 months. If she has to have a "wellness" exam before she gets the shots, I'll find a new veterinary hospital. And I could have gotten the rabies shot free in downtown Lakewood.

I have a 10 yr old dog who woke up with a mass on her foot and not wanting to get up and eat.. I took her in without an appointment and the Office was happy to see her . They called several times over the holiday weekend to check on my pets progress and me which gave me a lot of comfort.

They do a great job but I went in for a check up with two dogs, left with a $800 bill. I really think they should have pricing listed some where. I'm not saying we would not have had the tests done BUT I'm not sure what I would have done if I didn't have the money to pay once all was said & done.
