The staff at the Fisher Blvd office was friendly and professional. The office was very clean. Dr Mitchell was thorough and treated my cat very nicely. She did not recommend any unnecessary testing to be performed. I am very happy with Ocean County Veterinary Hospital.

The doc was really friendly and nice but
on the phone when I said I only wanted to clip birds nail and wings they gave me a price of 35. When I went for appointment they said they giving a full exam and they charged 80 buts. I probably would have not used them if I knew it would cost so much. Don't know if I will use them again. But the doc was nice just wish they communicated and didn't get screwed like that.

Office visit for sick animals
Everyone is great there, all my animals are treated like I would treat them. My only complaint / issue when I had to bring all my animals into the office for the same sickness I had to pay an office visit for each animal, plus meds. A suggestion is when 3 or more animals that have the same sickness the 4th and others should be a free office visit. 5 times 67 is a lot before meds, shots and so on.
Other than that the place is clean and staff is great

Our First Time....
I called OCVH in an emergency situation. My Cairn Terrier hurt herself outside and was bleeding from her leg. My usual vet was being a jerk, so I refused to see him and pay an extremely large fee for being "fit in" without a standing appointment. Initially, we went to Fisher Blvd, OCV. We were seen very quickly. I found the Vet to be very friendly, and very caring of my pet. She explained my pet needed several stitches and it would be best to have that taken care of at OCVH, in Lakewood. The staff called ahead to prepare them that we were on our way to their facility. We were treated very nicely, my sweet Lily was seen immediately. I was given previous notice of just what would be done, and also the approximate cost. I was impressed by the entire staff, not just the doctors. The facility was clean, attractive, and animal friendly. Unfortunatley my Cairn pulled her collar off during the night and she managed to pull out one end-stitch. We had to return to OCVH the very next day. The Dr. said it was okay, no damage done so no more stitches were needed. She would just clean the area and put an elastic wrap around Lily's leg. I was shocked to find out that this five minute visit (with the $1.00 bandage), cost me an additional $49.00. I felt it should be included as post-operative care...being it was less than 24hours and here we were back again! I felt this was quite unfair. Other than this, I was very pleased with OCVH.

Great customer service
The Doctor was wonderful and was very gentle with our new bird. He took his time to educate me about the bird and his needs.

Returning client after trying another Vet for location convenience.
Dr. Peter Falk is a wonderful doctor and person. He has tended to my Boxers and we are extremely pleased with his knowledge and his handling of them. We are relatively new to the area and have been to another local vet a number of times for convenience of location, but have come back to Dr. Falk and will remain. His office is not pushy, trying to sell you every new product, office staff is competent and friendly. Dr Falk has also gone out of his way to recommend several other doctors in his practice that will fit with our, and our dog's personality, if he is not available. His office is state of the art, equipment wise and is competitively priced with offices not nearly as well equipped or staffed.
My dogs love his office.
