I have been bringing my dog there since he was 2 months old (he is 2 1/2 now). They have been with me every step of the way: through routine check ups, emergency visits like when he eats things he shouldn't and when he was hit by a car. OCVH is incredibly efficient with their educated, compassionate and loving staff. I have recommended them to several people. They have several vets working there, which some people do not like BUT once you meet one you really like you can request that vet for appointments. I have never met one that hasn't been outstanding. Their vet techs, vets and receptionists are so friendly... Exactly the place you want to bring your pet. The ONLY thing that i will say that isn't so great and it is their prices (it is expensive) but it is worth every dime for how incredible they are. You won't find a better place.

We have a very large white Shephard, Friday, who was not himself and needed immediate attention. Of course it was a Sunday, no vet is open on Sunday. OCVH on Route 88 in Lakewood is open on Sunday and did see him. Dr G was very tentative, great listener, and very thorough. The staff was extremely friendly and great with Friday. We will be keeping them.

They r a group of kind & compassionate people. They value ur input as part of ur pets care. They'll offer different types of treatments in order to help financially, especially in emergency situations.

I've gone to three other vets in the area and have not been satisfied. My dog was in distress, breaking out in hives all over her body. They were the closest vet that was still open so I took her there. I'm so glad I've found them!! They were very comforting at a time when I was very upset and I truly felt like they were taking care of her as if she were their dog!!

Upon getting our puppy and searching for a compassionate & honest veterinary office, we were referred to OCVH by multiple people. We have had 3 visits since then, and every time we left with a smile on our face! The staff was so sweet, caring and welcoming. My puppy actually enjoys going (despite the shots), because of all the attention and love he receives. All of the staff has his best interest at heart, and has received the best care. He's happy, healthy and growing right on track, thanks to OCVH! I will always recommend this group to a friend. :)

I recently moved to the area and did not have a vet there yet. My dog became ill and I had several bad experiences with other vet hospitals close by. The vets and staff at Ocean County Veterinary Hospital and Fischer Veterinary Hospital were such a please to deal with during this difficult time. They were helpful and willing to work around my hectic work schedule to make sure my dog was on her way to being healthy again. I am so glad I found them and love that my dog is in such great hands there.

We always have a very pleasant experience at Ocean County Veterninary Hospital. Dr. Danowitz and Dr. Weiner have better bed side manner than any human doctor I've ever seen. They take very good care of my pup. Thanks!
