OarHealth and naltrexone have changed my life. I have struggled with alcohol use disorder for many years and have tried to quit unsuccessfully MANY times. I began my journey with OarHealth at the end of July. I have gone from about 35 drinks each week (at least) to mid-September I am drinking two or less servings each week with ZERO cravings. I am now sleeping great, have lost ten pounds, and feel a hopefulness that I have not felt in at least ten years. I cannot recommend OarHealth, naltrexone, and The Sinclair Method enough.

After years of trying and failing to get sober, it wasn’t until Oar Health that I was able to get it to stick and finally quit drinking. Getting started on Naltrexone was ridiculously easy. For me, being an alcoholic is incredibly embarrassing and that shame prevented me from seeking medical help, but the more anonymous nature of this program made it easy for me. Not only that, but being able to purchase a 1-year supply was beneficial to me as drug adherence is not my strong suit. The price was reasonable (~$400 for a year) and I received my medication about 4 days after filling out the initial form. All that to say is I’m 4 months sober and not looking back. The desire to drink is gone completely and now, not drinking is my habit.

Oar Health is great for people who know they want to drink less. I had used the medication they provide before and knew it helped me drink less. It is great to have a company where this medication is readily available because not a lot of people know it is out there. I think it can help others like it helps me everyday.
