First three days were difficult due to nausea and throwing up. It got more tolerable after that. I’m starting week three and my craving has greatly diminished. Still having evening cocktails but drinking 3oz or less.

Susan, it is great to hear that you are noticing fewer cravings for alcohol and finding moderation in your evening drinking. That sounds like meaningful progress in your first few weeks! I'm sorry to hear that you had such difficult side effects in the first few days. While many people do not experience side effects, it's no fun if you are in the group that does, and nausea is the most common. The good news, as you've discovered, is that side effects from naltrexone do tend to dissipate or go away entirely with continued use as the body gets used to the medication.
