The watch band looked nice and was reasonably priced, but unfortunately the pin went in and never came back out. What should have been a simple installation ended with the watch having to head over to my watchmaker to have the pin removed. The band itself looked good, but having to make a trip to the watchmaker because of the hardware was definitely disappointing. I wasn't expecting much for the price, received no surprises. Won't order from here again

Ordered a watch months ago. I followed up within first week of the order, and was informed watch only available after 4-8 weeks. This was fine,I agreed to wait. 9 weeks later I still had not heard a word and no status updates. So I followed up again. nywatchstore replied saying it is unavailable. This behaviour is a bit unprofessional especially as payment has been taken on order date with no mention of possible unavailability. This means customers lose out on both interest and conversion fees especially if they are purchasing from overseas (I purchased from New Zealand). I paid a full amount in January and company has to be prompted in March in order to send any status updates. I do give them credit for replying within about 2 days of my queries and providing a full refund in the end. I believe a company like this should review their processes to keep customers up to date and for items which have know delay, only take payment when item is truly available. It is frustrating when you are purchasing and don't receive any update. I doubt any updates would have been sent if I had not queried..
