I wanted to unsubscribe from their service and it took me two weeks, after calling every number possible and emailing them multiple times. My last email ended with: “...I require with immediate effect to cancel my subscription or further steps will be taken”. They finally answered (it still took 3 days). Never again.

What a laughable excuse for journalism. Any journalistic origination that would change it's own headlines because the deadline didn't bash President Trump enough, should be ashamed of itself. However, as ANY objective observer can witness, the NY Times and other "news" organisations are simply the propaganda arm of the dems, and would know the NY Times is shameless.

They bill randomly. They hide behind their many different phone numbers to talk to a live person. When you do finally get someone they are very nice, but VERY cryptic. DO NOT BUY A DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTION!! AND IF YOU DO AND WANT TO CANCEL, IF YOU DO NOT CALL THEM THEY WILL HOLD THE MONEY FOR YEARS!!! Just because you cancel, DOES NOT mean you will get a refund. You get a "credit" on the account. You do not get a REFUND until the end of the subscription takes place!! CALL THEM TO CANCEL!!!!

It was so sad to see that journalists are able to publish without researching on the subject matter or without any understanding of the situation. One article related to the Citizenship Act which was enacted into the law in December, 2019 was published in this newspaper and caused chaos across the Indian community and fed misinformation to people. People trusted this paper and so even they did t question or bother to read up on the existence of this act. People just started protesting in America and in India. The CAA allows the minorities who are getting persecuted in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are given a place of shelter in India but illegally. This act gives them a chance, a place to become a citizen of! Where did ‘anti Muslim’ notion come from. The Muslim countries that are persecuting Hindus, Christians and Buddhists !! The article should’ve been encouraging the notion and asking these Muslim nations to stop the atrocities on the minorities. Let’s be human! Let’s not sell the paper by creating headlines! So disappointed and saddened!

The once great news giant is now just a lie spitting hoax. Is is really sad when you are overseas and people ask you "why does the NYT lie about your president?" This used to be a huge source of information for almost the entire world. However now they don't even check their own sources... is is really sad to see them devolve into is pathetic "News agency"
