I was reading a comic section on my Android, on the 3rd one it said I need to sign in or create a free account to continue. I know NY Times has subscriptions, but since I was only interested in the comic section and it didn't explicitly mention that without paying anything is no go, I signed in with my Google account. I am now signed in, the article is now unscrollable and is dimming in the bottom. No message about what is happening and why I can't, as promised, continue reading after giving you my info. For people who earn by writing you don't communicate yourself well.

You should never make any subscription with New York Times, if you don't want to pay for ever!! Super easy to start your subscription. But impossible to stop it again, or to find anyone who wants to talk to you, to answer your mail, to help you. They just send you from one corner to other corner until you give up, or close for your credit card. I don't understand how NYT allow such a sick department destroy their reputations.

Fake News. You cannot believe a word these people say. They censor the right, while validating anything and everything the left has to say. This rag of a newspaper even denied that the Holocaust transpired (don’t take my word for it, do your own research). They are anti-Semitic, and anti-1st Amendment, and overly anti-American. Do not waste your money. I thought the days of yellow journalism were forgone, but they are as lively as they’ve ever been.

The NYT should be located in the fictional section! Constant lies and bias!

Canceling your subscription is impossible! My account literally says that I no longer have a subscription with them and yet I'm still being charged. Please do not waste your time and money, I've been on hold for two hours now.

Very bad. You know it's bad when you cant cancel your sub easily. Gotta donate a kidney before they let you out hahahaha trash

Canceling your subscription is way harder than it should be. Tried both over chat and phone and it was such a hassle.
