Best place to practice for CS exam, plenty of exam room like setups. Excellent techniques taught to optimise time and efficiency. Dr.Somas simplifies everything. Preparation can't be simplified any further. His feedback on your online typed notes makes a great difference. Mock exams and SP sessions are really good.

It is a great study environment, everyone is on the same page and trying to achieve the same goal. The stuff is very friendly, and always available to answer any questions. The center itself is clean well organized and has great hours. I would definitely recommend this everyone interested in taking the step 2 CS.

Great course, followed all instructions, used the opportunity to practice for a week and passed well without any problems. Thank you Dr.Somas!!

Great way to polish your memory and correct the techniques you’ve been doing wrong. Teacher student interaction is great; one on one reviews on practice patient notes. Great way to practice at centre. Friendly staff. I would highly recommend these classes.

Wonderful team, wonderful doctors, great experience. Worth doing this, I highly recommend this course!!!

its a place worth spending every dollar. Excellent staff.

Step CS has the highest fail rate among both US and IMGs alike. Don’t underestimate this test so it is best to prepare for it like the other USMLE exams. I didn’t take chances and used NYCS Prep and passed on my 1st attempt with flying colors (US-IMG). Practice the way you play. Dr. Sommas and his standardized patients know this test very well and break it down to make sure you nail all the important points on every patient encounter to ensure you do your best. The patient exam rooms come fully equipped onsite and are perfect for practicing patient encounters so take advantage of the “practice until you test” policy to be ready for test day. Mock Exams are actually 6 encounters and basically like UWorld on Tutor mode where you finish the patient case/note and then sit one on one with the Standardized Patients to discuss your performance. Their honest feed back is so helpful as a third party because they will make you aware of so many mistakes you might not pick up on if you were just practicing alone or with a friend. The cases themselves were very detailed and just as hard as the real exam. My real CS exam was still super hard but managed to do well using their strategies and approaches. I actually did 3 mocks (18 cases) because I found it so helpful. They even let me do 3 extra cases with an SP for free when others didn’t show up during times I was just practicing there. It goes to show they really want you to do the best you can and not in it for the $$. Dr. Sommas is always there in the evening and always willing to check your practice notes for feedback (most critical for passing CS) and to make sure you are up to par for the real test. So highly recommended for any med student both US and IMG to prepare for CS here.

friendly, professional and very reliable. thank you
