WoW! I’m blown away by the quality. My cover is stunning and stands out among the competition. The designer is incredibly talented and fast. This was a 5star experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.

Stole $20000 from my wife. Didn’t deliver Amazon marketing. Stopped responding after 3 months of them pretending to do marketing. They changed their name from pretending to be the New York City book publishers to changing the name ny publishers only now to change it to authors publishers to evade the consumers they have been scamming thousands from. Reporting the filthy sham. They aren’t real and likely from myanmar.

The work was extremely poor quality, and they only performed half the contract. This company in my opinion is a scam, and is out there only to con people out of their money! Avoid at all costs!!! Have turn them over to the police, six different addresses and all of them fake .

NY Book Publisher was an amazing experience working with them, I learn so much from Tobin, Sarah, Olivia and the team, everything was explained and helped from the beginning of the journey, I published my first book about a personal journey living with a medical condition such as epilepsy, its called Life after brain surgery, I publish my English version and will continue to publish with them in different languages. I am so grateful with the team 🙏🙏

UPDATE: THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE PUBLISHER - IT IS A SCAM TARGETING AUTHORS I placed $8700 since I am suing them in a Small Claims NY and suing them also for extra since they wasted 6 months, I have my attorney sending the lawsuit and have forwarded all documentation to the authorities I am in communication with. After 6 months and $7700 paid, I can confirm NY Book Publishers is a fraudulent operation. Here's the scheme: THE SCAM: High-pressure sales call with exaggerated revenue promises FRAUDULENT VANITY PRESS SCAM - SMALL CLAIMS FILED THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE PUBLISHER - FRAUDULENT VANITY PRESS SCAM COMPANY VIOLATED MY PRIVACY ON TRUSTPILOT UPDATED MAY 2026: NY Book Publishers just violated my privacy by disclosing my full private name "R. Colon" on Trustpilot WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION in their Trustpilot response. I never gave permission to publish my private information publicly. Screenshot taken and forwarded to: My attorney (preparing lawsuit for privacy violation) NY Attorney General Federal Trade Commission Trustpilot compliance This privacy violation demonstrates their unprofessional, concerning illegal conduct. What legitimate business publicly discloses customer private information to retaliate against a negative review? SMALL CLAIMS LAWSUIT FILED. ATTORNEY RETAINED. MULTIPLE REGULATORY AGENCIES INVESTIGATING. COUNTERING THEIR FALSE TRUSTPILOT RESPONSE - POINT BY POINT: THEIR LIE #1: "Three books published proves not a scam" REALITY: All they did was basic uploading of MY content to Amazon - work worth approximately $500. I provided: All three complete manuscripts All three professional book covers All materials Anyone can upload to Amazon for $500. That's not "professional publishing services" worth $7,700. They failed EVERY major contracted deliverable: ZERO Amazon marketing campaigns (primary Contract 1 deliverable) Volume II audiobook incomplete (primary Contract 2 deliverable) Failed to upload Volume 1 audiobook despite having had the ability to get the codes from me as proven in the codes screenshots that have been forwarded to the authorities to dismantle their scam illegal operation. ZERO copyright certificates received (primary Contract 2 deliverable) Posted ZERO social media February 2026 (complete abandonment) Failed to post contracted 8-10 posts/month December, January, February, March Basic uploading ≠ substantial performance. This is the vanity press scam. LIE #2: "Copyright filings prove we performed" THE FRAUD: December 4, 2025 - Don Rhodes LIED claiming NY Book Publishers had "connections to U.S. Copyright Office" and could deliver certificates in "20 business days" (I have screenshot - forwarded to court and authorities). This lie induced me to sign Contract 2 and pay $3,000. REALITY - May 2026 (5+ months later): I have received ZERO copyright certificates at my address. Filing an application (which anyone can do without "connections") is NOT delivering the contracted service. They lied about having Copyright Office connections to scam me. This is false advertising. Standard processing: 3-4 months. Their "expedited" service with "connections": 5+ months and nothing received. LIE #3: "Contract 2 was negotiated by client" FACT: December 5, 2025 - I emailed Don Rhodes stating "$3,000 ONLY" for Contract 2 (screenshot attached to court filing) My December 17 email mentioned potential $1,000 for THIRD audiobook IF they completed Volumes I and II the audiobooks first. They failed to complete Volume II, so conditional payment was never triggered. They're fabricating a $5,000 contract. This is fraud. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about NYBP. Jacob and Lily were excellent and very professional, they made my dream come true of being able to publish my children’s book!

Questions were answered promptly, and any issues were resolved quickly.

I was very impressed with Logan and his team. They were on point with editing, marketing and publication. However, after I signed my contract and paid $15000:with the guarantee of a percentage of return on my money, only to find out that I trusted the company swindled. I called and left voice messages, send emails and text messages and got no response. I was ghosted by Logan who was the point of contact. No delivery was done base upon the amount of money invested. They bait you, took your money then ghosted you. I lost all my investment.
