The customer service is garbage on a consistent basis. They are not prompt or on time. I thought the service was an awesome opportunity, but I was sorely mistaken. I do not recommend this service.

Don’t trust them for lab test, totally unreliable, non conclusive results or explanations, copy and paste answers… I disputed the charges! Totally frustrated with a company providing such important services in a such relapse way. And I tried to talk, chat, solve the issue in some way but they just don’t care about. They will reply here with another copy and past text… wait for it! They will reply this saying they want to fix but that is also a lie, just check all the bad reviews… they could improve their services and processes by that, but they just can’t improve, unfortunately.

I tried Nurx for help with my rosacea which I had been diagnosed with before by my former dermatologist. I'm in a particularly bad flare-up right now and getting in with a new dermatologist is a months-long process, so I filled out the questionnaire, paid for my consultation, and hoped for the best. One of the questions they ask is if you've tried certain medications. I marked that I had tried one and didn't see results. A week or two after filling that out, I finally heard from a provider. He never provided a treatment plan or explained his recommendation, just messaged me to say "Hey, we don't carry **medicine you said you don't like** so give me your pharmacy info and I'll call it in there." I pointed out that I'd said I didn't want to try that again and that I was worried it wouldn't address the pervasive redness but also made it very clear that I was not a doctor and valued his professional opinion. I guess I still irritated him because he messaged me back two days later and essentially said I'm incurable and I need to just "avoid triggers." Having spent the past month+ feeling incredibly self-conscious and helpless, this just added to my anxiety.

Don’t use Nurx! The customer service is awful. Gave Nurx a shot after moving and not having my usual gyno anymore. Contacted customer support, after being charged $80 to my credit card instead of my insurance. It’s been over 2 weeks and I still have not heard back! Will be canceling my subscription. Update as of June 24! I finally heard back (in April) after waiting for 2 weeks. Customer service sent me the information I needed to file a claim with my insurance. I found out after submitting the claim that my birthdate was wrong! It wasn’t even off just a couple of days. The month, day, year was all wrong. After calling and getting that resolved plus asking for a few other items needed by insurance (i.e. ndc), I received a new letter the same day. I submitted the new claim, then found out that the ndc was inactive! I reached back out through the website and was told someone would get back to me in up to 24 hrs and that they were contacting the pharmacy. That was 1 month ago and I have yet to hear back. Needless to say I would give 0 stars if that was a possible and I canceled my prescription since I’ve been battling this for 2 months. I reached out again yesterday after calling to cancel my prescription to give them another chance to redeem themselves and they still haven’t contacted me!

I was happy with Nurx until they wanted to give me whatever genetic on hand, when I had been receiving and was happy with the type I was currently using and had been using for almost a year. The new brand was "the same", but actual customer reviews were a lot lower and very concerning. When I brought my concerns up to Nurx and told them that I wanted the same medication I had been taking, Nurx refused to send me it nor would they give me a refund for my 3 months' worth of unused pills. Plain and simple, they don't care about their patients.

I'm not going to mince words here- NURX customer service team needs some retraining. What's the point of my wife filling out a detailed medical survey about her weight and PCOS when the reps are going to assume that she's immobile and addicted to cigarettes based on her BMI? She isn't and never has been. The survey CLEARLY INDICATES that she works a full-time job on her feet and is regularly active in a local gym and yoga studio. I can certainly understand having to throw out scripted responses to reduce legal liability because of the potential links between blood clots and birth control, but quite frankly NURX reps are in no position to throw out weight control advice when we're trying to get hold of birth control to manage her abnormally painful periods. Unless you are health and weight coaches, I advise that you stop making assumptions based on the controversially flawed BMI, which WAS NOT INTENDED TO INFORM MEDICAL DIAGNOSES PER HARVARD MED SCHOOL. Women should not have to beg and plead their case FOR MULTIPLE DAYS before your reps to get birth control, and because of your rep's incompetence we will now have a gap in birth control coverage. We will not be back.

They keep your information even if you do not order from them. You let them know what birth control you want but they ignore your request and say we can give you xyz instead. Waste of time. Don't use them.

I was denied purchasing of birth control because I am 55. I received a rejection notice along with a condescending message from the doctor about me being menopausal and how they don't treat menopausal women. I am not menopausal and still in need of birth control. I was never asked in my interview by the doctor if I was or not. Very shoddy in my book. Why would I try to order contraception if I didn't need it? I am not a fan of this website or medical expertise.
