Very bad service all they do is take your money and they never get back to you

Generic consult, customer service doesn't answer, take forever to the consult

I submitted my request for birth control on 1/23, it’s now 2/2. I have not recieved a single update regarding the status of my request. My account says my request is “Under review from our care team”. When I reach out to them through the app, it takes over a day for a runaround response along the lines of “We’re experiencing a high demand and you should get an update in a few days”. I thought this would be a simple alternative to taking time off work to see my gynecologist for birth control, but this is a massive waste of time. From the looks of other reviewers, it seems that even if you successfully get your prescription they drop the ball on shipping your refills before you completely run out of your current prescription.

Nurx is awful. I was never told how much my medication would cost. Next thing I know, there are charges totaling $230 on my credit card from them. I never approved this, and never would have if they had told me how much it would be. I've messaged, emailed, called, and nothing. I still have not been able to get my subscription canceled. No responses to anything. I will have to file a dispute with American Express. Apparently this is a common issue with this company.

Awful customer service. They take days to respond. After my second refill was shipped and lost in the mail, I tried contacting them via their app, via texting, via email, via telephone, and via Facebook messenger. They do not have 24-hour service by phone, so good luck if you have a problem on the weekend. It was days before I heard from anyone. Once I did finally get a hold of someone, I had the remaining refills transferred to my local pharmacy so I would never have to deal with them again, and by that time, I was late taking my medication.

Absolutely horrible and unreliable. They refuse to deliver my birth control on time; if I rely on their delivery service, I always miss pills, so I have to go pick it up at the pharmacy, which is very misleading on their part as the whole point of their marketing and image is the convenience and delivery. It takes over 3 days on average to get any response from them and literally every single communication I've gotten from them has been riddled with typos, even from supposed "doctors." I feel really misled by their advertising, the whole vibe is scammy and off, and would highly recommend against relying on them. EDIT: I want to emphasize that Nurx's response below is purely performative as I have been trying to contact them through those means for days to no avail. To anyone reading this review, please do not be fooled by their response. They have not moved at all to actually resolve the issue and they are not going to.

This is the second time I have attempted to use Nurx to order birth control. The first time was in October. After a month of no responses, the company saying they canceled my order, then telling me they'd send it to my pharmacy but never did, I gave up and told them to delete my account. They did but without a refund for my consultation fee. After shopping around it seemed Nurx was the only company offering what I wanted that was available in my state and accepted insurance. So January 1st I tried again hoping the first time was a fluke. It was not. The service was worse this time actually. I didn't even make it as far as them pretending I was getting medicine shipped. Just the "under review" message for the entire month of January no matter how many times I wrote them. Tried contacting through Facebook and the response was faster but just as useless. More "we're sorry we're so busy" and then still never fulfilling the order. The only thing this company is quick about doing is taking your money. I wish I had read these reviews first before wasting my time and money. By the way, I used a different site, wisp, to place an order yesterday and it was shipped out this morning. Sure, I have to pay for my prescription through them, but I would prefer to do that and get what I want than to keep getting the run around from a company that is clearly a scam. It's funny they respond to all of their negative reviews here with more apologies and telling you to send them a message because the entire reason most people are leaving bad reviews is because they don't respond when you write them. Just trying to keep up appearances to make it look like they're a good company and all the people leaving reviews are lying.

Absolutely horrible, unprofessional excuse for a service. I have tried having my birth control prescribed through them for a year and have never experienced worse customer service and follow-through. I have never once had a refill of my medication actually reach my home, and I have had to go through my insurance to have them call it into the pharmacy. Not to mention, they take several days or even weeks to respond to inquiries. Stay far away!!!
