They took 40 $ for a visit then no response on getting any refill. They keep saying they are too busy Cant call them and no chat either They dont care

Super slow to ship and respond to messages. If at all. Paid for test. Did everything correctly per directions but was rejected. Now they want me to pay again and won't respond. Definitely do not recommend.

I also wish I had read the reviews. Nurx is not here for you and not out to help you. In fact, they are creating barriers to getting birth control and causing stress. Things went fine at first. I got my birth control and all was well. When it came time to refill, Nurx decided to cancel my refill. I went back and forth with them several times and all they had for me was to switch to a different kind that I didn’t want to be on. I gave them another chance. They cancelled the next refill order. When I tried to find answers, I was told I needed to pay them nearly $200 to get my birth control (that is 100% free through my insurance). When I asked them why they were charging me when it was free through my insurance, they lied. They put the order through again, then cancelled it, then told me I’d have to start over, paying for another visit and etc. I live in TX and do not have the luxury to have a lapse in and mess around with my birth control. Though I tired to have a dialogue about this with them, thinking maybe they would care about women’s issues, they were not interested in a conversation. Just a give us more money situation. I then had to request my account be deactivated four times before they did so. We can’t even have control of our own accounts. In a time when women’s health and access to birth control is paramount, this company is just all about trying to get that money. I went elsewhere and got my birth control for free the same day.

Could have been a good experience but they don’t really care about helping or responding. They charged for the consultation and then took 7days to respond with a copy and paste response. I followed up with questions about the medication they were going to prescribe with no response. Yet they quickly charged me for the medication and shipped it. Go literally anywhere other than Nurx.

Update: I went back to them and things were okay for a while, until now when they did not charge my insurance and automatically billed me. When I contacted them, their response was "it's too late you have to contact your insurance for reimbursement". However, the insurance form requires very specific information which they have not provided me. ------- Nurx used to be great. I used it for years. Unfortunately, it’s now awful. I have been trying to get my my refill sent for 3 months. Customer service takes days to respond, will tell me everything has been taken care of, yet nothing happens. Sadly I’m going to have to cancel.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. They respond DAYS to WEEKS late, everything is an automated response, they’re late on refilling medication, they refuse to give me a refund, when they finally refilled my medication it was wrong, I couldn’t hate a service more if I tried. STAY AWAY. If I could give 0 stars, or even negative stars, I WOULD.

Stay away from Nurx. Nurx is horrible and you will not get the brand of birth control pill that you ordered or requested. I paid $45 for a specific brand but was told I would get a different one. Before it had been sent out, I had requested for the original one or for the prescription to be sent to a local pharmacy that could fill it. Since I cannot use other brands due to negative side effects, I called this morning to see if it could be fixed and if I could get a refund on my order and then charged again when the right brand is sent out. The customer service representative placed a note to the medical team but said that I could not be refunded. I think that is ridiculous since I was sent a medication I did not ask for and cannot even use.  When I pointed out that I had specified the brand I wanted in my form, I was told that I filled out the form incorrectly and that I should have stated negative side effects from other brands. Isn't Nurx supposed to specialize in birth control? Shouldn't Nurx have understood that changing birth control, even brands, would do that? I was not even asked if I was okay with changing brands in the messages.

Horrible recent experience. Zero customer service. Unauthorized Charges and a dozen messages, emails and phone calls later. Total incompetence. Too much competition to settle for poor service. Notice the positive reviews on the site are two years old.
