I switched to Nurx after Pill Club shut down. The switch was easy and seamless. The communication I have with the Care team is great. I do however miss the little gifts and samples that Pill Club had in the deliveries. But aside from that it is a good company and the prices are not unreasonable either.

Being able to receive birth control and weight management medication fully online is so convenient. The entire process has been very easy as well. There have been some minor setbacks with my weight management medication being processed and shipped on time to avoid gaps in dose, but anytime I've emailed I have gotten quick and friendly responses.

Overall, I've been pretty happy with my Nurx experience. Specifically in regards to their birth control services. I've been getting my birth control pills through them for about a year now. Hopefully the process to renew my prescription here in a few weeks will go smoothly. I've gotten the results I was seeking with the prescribed medication on the first attempt, it's pretty affordable, and mostly convenient in that my health insurance covers a majority of the cost and I have the medication sent to my local pharmacy for pick-up every 3 months. The onboarding process was relatively easy, and the doctor was helpful and knowledgeable with answering all my questions/concerns. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes it can take 2-3 days for customer service to respond to an inquiry. And on a couple different occasions it was a little inconvenient and frustrating because after waiting for and finally getting a response, customer service seemed to be confused and/or didn't understand my request/issue. So I would have to write back to re-explain the problem again and then wait another 2-3 days for another response. My most recent inquiry a couple weeks ago ended up being resolved by my local pharmacist because customer service was misunderstanding my issue. My refill got denied because my pharmacy was requesting another 3 month supply, but it turned out it was because I only had 1 month remaining on my year prescription. Customer service could not properly advise or explain the reason for the denial. For some reason they thought I was requesting an early refill when I was actually due to run out in 5 days, so it was very time sensitive and needed resolved immediately. I couldn't wait for another response from Nurx so I reached out to my pharmacy and they figured out the problem themselves, explaining the issue to help resolve it for me. Simply by putting in the order for just the 1 refill remaining on the prescription instead of my normal 3 month refill. Something simple that I feel Nurx customer service should have been able to solve and correctly advise on. If they'd actually looked at my account they should have been able to see the recently denied request for 3 refills and been able to determine that I only had 1 refill remaining which caused the issue. Despite the minor communication inconveniences, I still feel the service has been worth it overall.

I really appreciate not having to leave my house lol. So that’s great. And when I’ve had to call and speak with a human agent person they have been really helpful. When I use the automated email thing it’s a little slow. Love talking to the humans though, on the phone and they’ve helped me get medication to my pharmacy and stuff.

I love that it is consistent and information is shared easily between patient and my medical team. Just hate that the discreet package is not really discreet. While the mailing label does not give out much information, the package does. The order in November had BC written on it, the package is very flimsy so any one touching can feel and know exactly what it is. So not really discreet if you live with Family, Roommates, etc.

I have had an easy experience with Nurx; I had a birth control prescription previously I had been on for years that I haven’t had any issues with, I worked with customer service and my Nurx provider to make sure my insurance covers the prescription for my needs. My only issue is the amount of initial charges I get from Nurx when they run into billing issues - this is primarily an insurance issue, but more communication and tracking of when and whether my insurance covers an upcoming refill on time could be improved.

I have been with Nurx since they took over. I love the reliability of shipments on time and in 3 month supplies. The only downfall is that my insurance is not accepted so I pay the $45 out of pocket (which is still cheaper than feminine products and midol for 3 months). They've always communicated any changes to my prescription and needed updates and in a timely fashion.

I’ve been using Nurx for a little over a year now and i’ve not only gotten the results i wanted, but they also accompanied me through it all. Good communication, on time deliveries, they also check in regularly, and the fact that everything is over the phone makes it so convenient.
