This company has some shady business practices. The best online subscription companies always send reminders about upcoming fulfillment and give ample opportunity to make changes or cancel. Not Nurx! They give one opportunity to extend and then they just send. Even if you try to cancel via the only communication platform they have, they are too slow to respond. Their customer service is horrible! The reps antagonize the customer.

Nurx is horrible when it comes to billing and customer service. It takes several days to get a response, you get a different person each time, they don’t read your case notes. I had the same billing issue 3x. Finally had to cancel.

Nurx is the most frustrating online service I have ever used. After exclusively filling my prescriptions at my local pharmacy for the last year, Nurx mailed my medication to an old address that was not my default address (which I had previously repeatedly attempted to remove from my account). Now, they're "sorry to hear that you're out of medication... a member of our medical team will be in contact with you within a few days to answer your questions." Presumably, while they figure out how to get my insurance to authorize a refill while avoiding accountability for their error. Maybe I screwed up somewhere - but I'll never know because you can only ask one question before their ill-trained agents short-circuit and stop responding for days. Now I'm cut off from medication I've been on for over a year now for the foreseeable future. And honestly, I should have known better because similar situations have abounded in my roughly 2 years as a patient. Nurx solely exists because there is a shortage of accessible medical care in the US. No one would voluntarily use it if they had an alternative means to see a real dermatologist. Telehealth can work but Nurx is nothing more than a poorly operated pill mill. Just look at the reviews here, on the BBB, or Reddit.

The “doctor” that reviewed my symptoms was supposed to recommend a prescription that fit my needs, instead they prescribed a brand that made my specific symptoms worse. I can only assume they didn’t read my profile at all. Then, they charged my card $48 without any warning or authorization and they won’t refund me. Seems like an overall scam.

RUN! This is a scam. They charge you constantly but if you need support or need to make changes to your subscription they ghost. It took them 6 days to reply to a mental health related question. Try any other service before you get to Nurx.

Terrible customer service. Nothing arrives on time then they won’t release your prescription. It’s just awful.

The recommended treatments were all medications that I told them I had side effects from. This was extremely unhelpful and a waste of time.
