The customer service is sooo terrible. The process of ordering was easy, but getting my issue resolved was not. (spoiler- it was never resolved) i was charged for and received two 3 month boxes of Opill, mind you they’re $50 a piece so I tried to get it resolved and it took weeks before I could get someone on the phone. and even then i was told they couldn’t see where i was charged twice. i emailed them pictures of the birth control boxes and my bank statements and nothing was done. I was told to basically deal with it or take the second box to a pharmacy to have them discard of it (what??) $100 coming out at once is a lot for me and to not even be told sorry is a slap in the face. This company sucks and their customer service is basically nonexistent.

waste of time
Complete waste of time. I wanted to try a birth control mini pill that was listed as available through them to help regulate my unpredictable cycle. The doctor said they could only prescribe the pill to prevent pregnancy and refused to prescribe it for my scenario. If they cannot prescribe birth control for non pregnancy prevention, they should make that clear up front before charging for a consultation. I have used other online health services with much better experiences, choose a different service.

I used to have no issues
I used to have no issues - now I am living in a nightmare loop. Something happened mid this year, and the app stopped sending me notifications, stopped shipping my birth control and could not get anything filled. Since August I have gotten ONE pack of birth control filled by them, and one pack of birth control I paid cash for at the pharmacy. Their customer service team sends you in loops to approve the medication and send it to the pharmacy, and then they just never do???????? I am beyond frustrated. It honestly seems like they were acquired by a right wing group aiming to dismantle the entire service from the inside out.

Three shipments lost, two because of their own errors.
Nurx messed up my shipping on two orders and were unable to fix the issue. They mailed to the incorrect zip code even after my residence was updated. They also had one shipment that was lost in the mail.
Three shipments were either lost or never provided to me during my single year of using Nurx.
They also take multiple days to respond to messages. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for these resources.

Abolutely terrible site
Abolutely terrible site, I only wanted information, they charged me for a "consultation " then asked about 20 essay questions about everything that has happened to me in my entire life. No one has time for that. Then they have emailed and texted me daily to "complete my consultation " for 2 months. I went and tried to delete my account, billing and personal information and they will not allow it, claiming federal law prevents them from doing so. For the record I never received any medication from them but they still refuse to delete my account. I finally managed to enter a fake address and email account plus had to block them as spam. There are far easier and more responsive online pharmacies to use.

Would NOT recommend
Would NOT recommend. Was shorted medication and NEVER corrected. Continued to be charged after entire treatment plan was incorrectly fulfilled and late! Don’t use!

Gaslit and Dropped — My Experience With Nurx
I was a patient of Nurx / Thirty Madison, Inc. for mental-health and dermatology care (April–Oct 2025). On Aug 13, 2025, I completed a required mental-health follow-up in their portal. For over six weeks, that follow-up sat marked “under review.” My subscriptions and order history disappeared, and when I later submitted a dermatology consult, it replaced the mental-health tracker entirely.
Support staff repeatedly insisted I hadn’t completed the follow-up, then later contradicted themselves by confirming I had done it that same day. My dashboard showed missing medical data, and I never received any copy of my records—even after I asked multiple times. They demanded screenshots proving their own data loss before they’d consider sending anything. I provided evidence, but nothing was ever corrected or released.
Before August, I already faced week-long waits for responses and serious delays with basic medication questions. Between Oct 13–16, I also stopped receiving any notifications—no emails or app alerts—despite all settings being enabled. Nurx later blamed me for not replying to messages I never received.
When I disclosed that I take naltrexone (a prescribed medication) to confirm it was safe with another drug they’d given me, they abruptly terminated my care and sent me substance-abuse resources—misinterpreting my disclosure as addiction treatment instead of responsible medication management. Only after I pushed back did they backtrack and claim I’d have temporary access to a provider for 30 days.
They refused to refund two $69 “ongoing-care” charges for months when no services were rendered and only refunded a $40 dermatology consult after weeks of arguing. The combination of lost records, contradictory communication, and gaslighting made this one of the most unprofessional healthcare experiences I’ve ever had.
If you value continuity, accuracy, and respect from your provider, avoid Nurx. Their system lost my medical data, their staff contradicted themselves, and they cut off care without warning—all while keeping my money.
**Edit to add (because I can’t reply to comments I don’t think…) **
Nurx left a canned “please email us” response, which is ironic considering I’d already sent multiple detailed emails, screenshots, and the exact evidence their own team requested. Each time, their responses shifted — denying what was documented, deflecting responsibility, or twisting details to place blame back on me. They briefly offered small fixes, only to backtrack and close the issue without real resolution.
Their public replies read as purely performative, masking a pattern of avoidance and zero accountability behind the scenes.

Bending the knee to the new administration.
Used them for 3 years with no issues. First renewal with the new administartion and now I suddenly can't use their service because I have Tricare coverage (have had all along and was a cash payer) now they won't even allow me to pay cash and NOT USE INSURANCE. Feels like bending the knee to a new administration that doesn't want women to be able to easily access FEMALE reproductive care. So now ANY woman that has medicare, medicaid, or tricare can't utilize them even if they pay cash. I will never use them again and never recommend them again.
