Stay away! This is a complete scam. Difficult to cancel the trial and there are no emails to inform you of billing being processed. Customer support is unresponsive, and when you do receive a response it’s a generic blanket response. Edited to add response after Numerade reply: It is completely untrue about receiving emails about subscription status. There are no emails sent when you’re billed for renewals. To cancel the subscription you have to click through numerous confirmations. Bottom line is avoid Numerade- there are several better and more legitimate alternatives available. 2nd Edit: subscription was not from the @cox.net email. I contacted support on 4/16/25 and received a generic blanket response. I sent follow up questions which received no response. I filed a BBB complaint to which Numerade never responded.

We do not see any emails or support tickets sent to our team under the email ********@cox.net. Nor are there any subscriptions tied to this email. All users receive both a welcome email, with trial, plan, and cancellation information, as well as a trial ending reminder email a day before their trial expires. The reason you see no email is again, there is no subscription tied to the email provided, and you used another one or multiple to sign up. Hey there. To manage your subscription, simply log in to the Numerade account that you created a subscription with (you may have multiple emails, so you must use the right one). Click the “profile” icon on the top right, and select “Billing.” Click “Cancel” and proceed through the steps to cancel your subscription (or just click on https://www.numerade.com/payments/billing/). In addition, users receive multiple emails informing them of their subscription or trial start date and cancellation information, as well as a free trial ending reminder email.

I’ve been trying for two days to cancel my free trial on Numarde, but every attempt results in an error message saying “something went wrong.” Despite multiple tries and no fault on my end, I still haven’t been able to cancel. With the billing date fast approaching (May 3rd), I’m extremely concerned I’ll be charged for a service I don’t want to continue. There seems to be no easy or reliable way to stop the subscription, and the lack of prompt support only adds to the frustration. This experience has left me feeling misled and disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend signing up for the trial unless you’re willing to risk being charged against your will.

Hi Siena. Thank you for your review It appears you created two separate accounts, using two different emails. You successfully self cancelled one, but not the other. You will need to login to the other account and self cancel as you did the other. For privacy sake, we cannot publicly share your differing emails, but, please email us at [email protected] (we do not see any prior messages to our team). The error message in question is "Payment Error: Your payment was not successful", as the card on file on that second account is failing, and the error itself is not related to the cancellation process. Once logged in, you can ignore that message and click the "Cancel" button.

This is a total SCAM. I definitely wasn't provided with sufficient notice of free trial and payment thing. Maybe I needed it for one single assignment/question and try the free trial. But I wasn't notified anything that I needed to keep paying for this service which I NEVER USED. Their customer service wouldn't issue any refund to you. Beware of this scam website. They are one of those companies just want your credit card number and allure you for recurring payment every month.

Hey QG. We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. In taking a look at your situation, it appears the 7 day free trial was not cancelled, which is why you were charged. In addition, we see you were sent the two emails that are sent to all users, which are a welcome email with your plan information, as well as a free trial ending reminder email.

SHADY COMPANY I used a free trial to view some examples, but their solutions were completely incorrect. I ended the free trial right there and then. 7 months later I noticed I'm still being charged...

Hi there. Thank you for leaving us a review. Numerade subscriptions include a free trial and are self-cancellable. After the trial ends, the plan is billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All subscriptions, both month-to-month and annual plans, are recurring and will automatically renew after the end of each paid subscription period. In this instance, the free trial was not canceled in the required time frame, nor were the subsequent months as well. If you have any questions please email us at [email protected].

Hey there. We appreciate your review. Numerade is free to signup for, for all users. Most features, including our AI STEM chatbot, Ace, are actually free to use for students trying to master math and science. We also offer a free, 7 day trial, for users to experience Numerade Premium, which does carry a subscription (monthly or annual), for unlimited usage of other features, such as Educator Ask, where thousands of real educators are ready to create custom video tutorials for you.

Answers were never correct and help was worthless. I canceled TWICE and was billed for 2 months still! Can’t ever reach anyone! This is a scam and beware!

Hey Leslie. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We see your support ticket that was opened on December 12th has already been replied to and resolved. Our team confirmed that your free trial ended on November 11th, and was not cancelled until December 11th, when the second month renewed already.
