Hey Renae. Thanks for contacting us on Trust Pilot. Our multi-layered sign up flow (numerade.com/signup) requires a user to manually enter their payment information after reviewing the terms of the trial and subscription. We are unable to receive one's payment information nor charge someone without their consent (there is a final check box before signing up). Only if the free trial is not cancelled (as was the case here) can one be charged the plan they selected (monthly or annual). Hey Lisa! Thanks for leaving us a review. As our team shared via email today (5/8/23), your daughter accepted the promotional offer during the cancellation process of her trial- meaning, rather than cancelling, she elected to receive the offer of 2 free months of Numerade, followed by the lowest monthly price of $6.99/mo thereafter (until self cancelled). The email she received at first, as you shared- was confirmation of cancelling her original plan should she have continued past her trial ($18.99/mo or $179.88/yr). The offer was accepted manually rather than cancelling. After the free months expired, she went on this $6.99 plan and has kept her account active, not cancelling. As the team also confirmed earlier, they manually cancelled her plan as of 6/3/23, with access until then. As a friendly reminder, our signup journey can be found at https://www.numerade.com/signup-landing/. Our free trial lasts 7 days after which a user will be billed according to the plan the selected during this sign up, unless they cancel their trial. As a reminder, the 3 part sign up flow for our free trial can be found at numerade.com/signup. Once the free trial ends, if not cancelled- a user will subscribe to the plan they elected during this signup flow.

Hey Riyaz. I am unsure if you deleted your earlier review with our reply, but I do see your support ticket has been attended to shortly after submission (please check your inbox or spam folder). While we did previously share the timestamps of your account activity wherein the free trial was shown as not self cancelled, and the account was still active- should you have any further questions feel free to DM us or reopen your support ticket.

Hey Bill! Thanks for leaving us a review. Upon confirmation with PayPal, your 7 day free trial began on April 6th, and was self cancelled on April 13th, after the trial already ended. As all subscriptions can be self cancelled directly in the billing section of one's profile, or in PayPal directly, a user may not be charged prior to the trial ending. It looks like your support ticket has already been resolved wherein the team shared screenshots of your activity log. While we apologize for any less than ideal experience with us, please note that all subscriptions can be self cancelled directly in the billing section of one's profile, or in PayPal directly, and a user may not be charged prior to the trial ending. It looks like your support ticket has already been resolved wherein the team shared your specific account details. In addition, it does appear that your PayPal dispute was also denied by PayPal itself, wherein they emailed you directly sharing that they too found that the free trial was not cancelled until after it had ended.
