Medical Supplies at my Fingertips
I am the sole caregiver to my 94-year old mom who is 95% blinded with macular degeneration. Mom's hearing is about 80% gone (yes, shouting is a constant in my home). She lost the ability to walk when she fell 15 months ago and fractured a lumbar vertebrae. That fall also propelled mom's dementia into a speeding, out-of-control train. Because of these conditions, mom spends her days in a wheelchair or a lift chair. She lost the ability to recognize the need to use the toilet. Diapers have become her normal underwear. I obtain those diapers from NorthShore because they are the only company that offers disposable "briefs" that actually fit mom. the "store-bought" brands are either way to small or way too big. NorthShore's is absolutely perfect. In addition to the briefs, I purchase bed pads. I get two different sizes because one size I use for her chairs and the larger, "tuckable" is for her bed. I can't begin to tell you often these pads have saved me from doing laundry three or four times in one day. Magnificent doesn't even come close to describe the product, the ease of ordering AND the speed at which these items are delivered. I would absolutely be lost without NorthShore Care Supply.
