An honest review I ordered these as Christmas presents. Three to be exact. They were ordered on Dec 5 they arrived Dec 28 .. a bit over the projected delivery time. But hey? It's Christmas. The knives arrive very sharp. Being a bit of a knife aficionado. They are neat looking knives. I wonder about the finger hole as a stress point should hard use be employed. I used mine New Years to carve a rack of lamb & a spiral ham. That took the wire edge off very the 1080 high carbon steel. But came back up easily with my sharpening rod. Is it a $750 Benchmade chefs knife? Nope but at the price it's a good value & will get the job done quite well. I'll give it a 4.5 simply because the 1080 has to be kept oiled... Other than that? I approve of the Loki ... plus it looks neat..

I bought three of the Loki knives for the knife snobs in my life and they absolutely loved them. My brother-in-law said he *actually* really liked the gift I got him this year. That’s a first. Such a cool design and a wow gift!

I absolutely love these knives!! They are built solidly and feel great in your hands. Love the finish on the Loki and the hand hole makes it so comfortable for slicing meat. The butcher knife chops amazingly well. It does half the work for you and the size helps you scoop it all up quickly and neatly. I’ve been using them a lot and they’re holding an Edge really well and haven’t had to sharpen yet but I did get the sharpener as well. I’m really happy with this purchase!!

I purchased the Loki as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. It did not disappoint! From the smell of authentic leather, to the detailed design stitching, to the sharpness of the blade, my boyfriend was thrilled to get this knife. He tested the knife with the paper test and it sliced like butter right out of the box. 10/10 recommended this as a gift for your man, ladies. Mine is excited to show off his new knife at his next men's camping trip.

Excellent knife. I fear for the safety of my fingers! Great quality, heavy duty and durable. From precision cuts to cutting through bone and cartilage, nothing stops this knife! Happy to call it my braai knife of choice

I've been looking at these knives for a while. They had a sale where they would give you 1 knife free with the purchase of 2 knives so I decided to give it a try. I purchased the other 2 as Christmas gifts for my son and son in law. This is the best knife I've ever owned. I carved our Thanksgiving turkey with it, it cuts vegetables just as easy as meat. I just gave the other my son and son in law theirs and they are very excited to try them. The knives are extremely well made and hold their edge. The blade is heavy and designed to fit the hand well. It feels like an extension of your hand. I purchased the Loki and I'm already looking to get one of their other knives. Thanks Northern knife for such a great knife

I ordered the Loki from northern knife and was quite pleased with the transaction and the knife. I thought the shipping was a little slow but that was probably because I was eager to get the knife. I love the Loki. I especially like the shape of the handle and the hole in the blade, they make it so controlable. The Loki is the only knife I will use.
