I purchased the Loki series Viking knife for my husband for Christmas. It is a fantastic knife, wonderfully made, and perfect for cutting ribs he loves to grill! I highly recommend this product.

I ordered the Viking chef knife and have been very impressed with the balance and feel of this knife. It was very sharp out of the box and cut through cold baby back ribs like butter. I am thinking of ordering more for relatives.

This company is amazing. They sell quality knives at a great and reasonable price. I have two knives and when I received them they were sharp and ready to be used. Best experience with a knife ever
I have bought many different knives in my years, and I'll tell you the honest truth:
I'm SUPER impressed with everything about Northern Knife (check them out at northernknife.com).
See, their knives are beautiful AND affordable. I admit I was cynical about them at first. Too many good reviews, too affordable, too cool looking (aesthetically they're gorgeous and man is that slot for the index finger a pretty novel thing). In short, I didn't think this was going to become "my knife company"...
I actually feel kinda lame now that I have spent thousands on stuff like Wusthof, Zelite Infinity, Okami... but now I don't have to feel bad about buying a knife, cause I know that I'm not only helping a smaller business, but I'm gonna get the biggest bang for my buck.
Now I know I've said a lot about affordability, but that doesn't mean they're cheap. You can tell every knife has been handmade (with I'm sure days worth of work), is sharp as hell and I really wanna emphasize that. Cause these things, right out the box are crazy keen. They're so sharp, I have purposely put my Loki Blackout thru the steps since I've received it. I have basically used it for everything I can.
The knife is still sharp, as if completely unfazed. I just can't say enough about these knives. Go get yourself one!

Quality!
Last year I did a ton of research and landed on buying my husband a set of kitchen knives from a Japanese company that had good reviews. Either we got a lemon set or something was wrong but the knives arrived dull. I wanted them They made the return process easy but wanted to charge an ungodly amount for a restocking fee. It took a lot of fight for them to do the right thing. My experience with northern knife was night and day difference. The presentation was beautiful to gift and the knives are high quality, sharped and backed by a good company. They even arrived early!
