NIMOFAN Katana

About NIMOFAN Katana

NIMOFAN Katana offers Japanese-style swords made and hand-finished in Longquan, China, a city known for its long swordmaking tradition. Our catalog includes katana, wakizashi, tachi, tanto, selected Chinese swords, accessories, display stands, and customization options. We serve collectors, martial arts enthusiasts, cosplay and display buyers, and people interested in sword history, materials, and craftsmanship. We do not believe buyers should have to pay a large cultural or branding premium to enjoy a well-made sword. Modern steel selection, controlled heat treatment, blade geometry, fittings, polishing, and quality inspection matter more than mythology or marketing labels. Specifications vary by model. Steel type, heat treatment, construction, sharpening options, dimensions, and included accessories should always be checked on the relevant product page. Not every NIMOFAN sword is clay-tempered, folded, sharpened, or made in exactly the same way. Many pieces involve substantial handwork, so small variations may occur. We aim to describe products honestly and address questions with product and order evidence rather than slogans. NIMOFAN ships to supported international destinations, with current availability and shipping terms shown on our website. For product questions or order assistance, customers can contact [email protected] welcome detailed reviews, including criticism. Feedback about fit, finish, packaging, delivery communication, and option accuracy helps us improve our product information, inspection, and operations. Our goal is to make sword collecting more approachable, encourage informed discussion about history and technique, and give customers access to distinctive designs without pretending that every modern sword is a museum artifact.

NIMOFAN is easily the best place that…
NIMOFAN is easily the best place that I’ve bought my swords and katanas, before I came across NIMOFAN I was buying from other sellers and they didn’t have many options and they the other places were over priced without good quality and material but NIMOFAN is different, they have the most fair prices I’ve seen, they use the best material for the katanas and they use actual blacksmiths who take time to make the detail on they’re katanas, they also make the katanas really strong and you can tell they make the best effort to make it the way you would want it, they have the best customer service I’ve ever seen and I don’t have one single regret for buyin from NIMOFAN they truly are incredible, the blacksmiths have a talent that I’ve never seen anywhere else!

Great sword
Great sword, but forgot my engraving😊
Response from NIMOFAN KatanaJun 23, 2026
Thank you, Cori. We checked order #2921 and can see the engraving issue. A partial refund for the missing engraving was issued on Oct 23, 2025. We are glad you liked the sword itself, and we agree the engraving should not have been missed in the first place.

Amazing!
So happy with my purchase! Great quality and craftsmanship, hassle-free delivery and great add-ons! would absolutely order from them again. It does take about a month to come in, not during peak ordering season, so keep that in mind.
Response from NIMOFAN KatanaJun 8, 2026
Thank you, Halley. We are glad the craftsmanship, add-ons, and delivery experience all came together well. And thank you for mentioning the timeline honestly too; handmade pieces do take time, and clear expectations help everyone.

A really piece of art, Amazing everyhting
A really piece of art. Like a sculpture need to show and treat as so. Everything is perfect. Very well made, the quality of the materials the the equip craftsman's take very careful in the little details. Like I told before a piece of art, that is functional if need to train or practice.
Response from NIMOFAN KatanaJun 8, 2026
Thank you, wolfgg. Calling it a functional piece of art is one of the best compliments we could receive. We are glad the materials, details, and craftsmanship came through the way they should.

Most definitely the communication they made sure I got my son's sword before his 16th birthday and I'm forever grateful
Response from NIMOFAN KatanaJun 8, 2026
Thank you, Jennifer. We are really glad the communication helped and that your son's sword arrived before his 16th birthday. Gifts with a deadline carry extra pressure, so hearing that it made it in time means a lot to us.
