Thank you for raising these concerns, Prathap. We checked order #5586 carefully. Both the katana and wakizashi were ordered as “Hand Sharpened / With Engraving.” However, both engraving-text fields were left blank, so our workshop had no wording to engrave. We should have contacted you before production instead of letting that omission pass, and we sincerely apologize. We have now issued a USD 23.00 refund—the full engraving amount actually paid, USD 11.50 per sword—to your original PayPal payment method. The refund is recorded and PayPal is processing it. For clarity, both the Wild Mustang wakizashi and Celestial Dragon katana supplied in this order are specified as folded-steel, full-tang swords. A blue surface tone alone does not show that a blade is not folded steel. Both were also ordered hand-sharpened. Sword edges normally retain niku—material behind the edge—to balance cutting ability and durability, rather than being ground as thin as a kitchen knife. That said, if the actual edges are not performing as expected, the concern deserves a proper inspection; appearance alone cannot settle it. We are sorry our communication about the missing engraving text was not better.
