Night LarkReviews of nightlark.com

Love the coverless 10.5 tog double and bought on the fact it is washable and tumble dryer compatible. It is certainly washable in my Miele 8Kg washer BUT, my Samsund 8Kg tumble dryer apparently hasn't a programme that is suitable. When checking I haven't found one successful comment on tumble drying. I'm 86 years old and disabled living in a small apartment and the space or ability to air dry, I feel very let down.

I ordered 2 twin comforters on sale 50%. Only one was delivered. I’ve emailed and submitted my complaint and haven’t heard back. This survey was sent out before customer service responded.

Unfortunately this type of product (4.5 togs) has very few opportunities to be used which means when a fault develops you’re out of a warranty period but the item has been barely used. I’ve purchased 4 of these, one was ruined in the tumble dryer despite it having care instructions that say it can be tumble dried, now one has started to come unstitched in places, the edging is poor but my daughters most recent one has a different trim on so they must be aware of this quality issue, and the seersucker pattern flattens. It’s a shame as they feel so nice and perfect for the current heatwave but their price point doesn’t set them apart on quality compared to the other brands which are now available (these were the only ones available when we first started buying) I think the summer duvets should have a longer warranty period or maybe they should be made better in the first instance so this doesn’t happen.

Bought 2 Nightlark coverless duvets. 10.5 tog and 4.5 tog. Both have started to shed the inner stuffing which creates tiny balls of polyester fluff stuck to the top sheet under the duvet. I could only find my order confirmation for the 10.5 tog one but cannot find the 4.5 tog email confirmation. Called the Fine Bedding Company. They are replacing the 10.5 tog but refuse to deal with the 4.5 tog because I cannot provide order details. Despite the fact that they actually make these duvets, they won't accept responsibility for the one where I can't provide order details. I offered to send it back to them for testing but they refused. It can't be a coincidence that 2 duvets have the same fault. There's something wrong with them! I guess I'm 'lucky' they're replacing the 10.5 one. I wouldn't buy from this company again. I'm not convinced the replacement duvet won't also be faulty. They're not interested in testing it and merely advised me to 'dispose of it as I wish' Not very impressed

I run a B&B so coverless duvets have been a bit of a life changer. I have in the 6 years of running the business had to purchase around 8 of the Night Lark duvets for my two guest bedrooms. I am just in the business of replacing another... I obviously wash them a lot and the fabric and stitching does not last. They rip easily and some of tog ratings are a little unreliable. I have one which my 7kg drum washing machine cannot spin so I end up draining in the bath or hanging out wet which means I get wet in the process! On the plus side they are hygeinic and do dry very well. If spun in the machine they dry within hours in the house, even in the summer when the heating is not on. Many of my guests comment on how comfy they are (they are as I use one) and how useful they are given you can wash them. I could have sold hundreds by now and commended the brand. I contacted the company to ask for a discount code as I promote them heavily and got nothing back! I am now with regret moving brand to try another provider and see how resilient their products are.

I love the feel of this duvet and that I don't need to grapple with duvet covers. However, in only a few weeks it has become very bobbled with little tufts of the filling coming out. I am very disappointed because I had the previous version and it didn't do the same. It has even bobbled on the underside of the cover. I wouldn't recommend it based on that because it looks unsightly and unkempt. ** EDIT: FBC contacted me and asked for some information. They have sent me a replacement. I am happy with that and hope the replacement is better. As a result and due to the prompt attention by FBC I have upped my review to 3 stars.
