I recently subscribed to a solar farm through a company called Nexamp. The representative explained how I could achieve a savings on my electric bill by participating in a solar farm without installing solar panels on my home. This is a novel concept and a great way to save on your electric bill. I highly endorse this company and have suggested this to friends and family.

I have changed my rating of this company from one star to five based upon information provided by Nexamp and National Grid that clearly described the billing process and identified the source of my misperception of the cancellation process. Nexamp is providing an alternative to the use of fossil fuels for electric generation. I strongly support this concept and hope that the market share for companies like Nexamp continues to expand.

What I like best about Nexamp is it’s simplicity in providing me with solar energy without having to install solar panels on my roof. 1. Solar farming - I do not need to have solar panels placed on the roof of my home; 2. No upfront costs - no long-term purchase and solar panel installation costs; 3. No outdated technology - solar farms are maintained by Nexamp. No outdated technology sitting on my roof. 4. No long-term contracts - I can cancel with a month’s notice; and 5. Getting an energy discount on my energy bill each month.

I love having the option to use solar energy vs fossil fuel without having to install and maintain solar panels at my home. I have only had a good experience using Nexamp. I've been enrolled since late 2021 so this is my 2nd year. I get off site generated credits on my bill. It shows that a big portion of the electricity I use is from the solar farm. Solar farms are rather new so it's a learning experience I'm sure to blend with utility companies whose needs likely are based on how they are regulated or structured. Utility laws can vary among states. Regardless, I've had no snags myself. Just energy credits on my bill, and money saved using a cleaner energy source. I worry about our planet. This is one way of using less fossil fuel.
