I'll preface this review by saying: my wife is Jewish and I've had really good bagels - dense, chewy, and very flavorful. When you read the reviews here saying these New Yorker bagels are bready and have no flavor, that's absolutely true. They are nothing like a traditional bagel and it really does taste like you're just eating toasted bread. I've tried several of the flavors and they all taste the same, honestly.

I have been purchasing wholesale bagels from New Yorker Bagels for years. I had a few issues with delivery. They quickly took care of them. This last issue I had with delivery was a nightmare. I addressed it with customer service and they were no help. We had it setup eith our delivery guys that they could leave the product if the shop was closed. This did not happen. They used the excuse that delivery was attempted and they could not file a claim with Fedex. The day they attempted delivery we sold out early and it was past the time our deliveries are normally delivered. The bagels sat on the truck for a week before they were finally delivered at 5:00. Customer service just went off a scripted sheet and just kept repeating the same thing. The bagels are junk and got tossed in the trash. I am out $100 and they will only replace 1/2 the order. I stated this was unacceptable but they didn't care. I also told them that they would get a bad review. Now they won't even give the 50%. Stay away from this place, they are good until you have an issue, then they are all for profit and to bad for the customer. Stay away.

I moved from the East Coast and missed good bagels. I found New Yorker Bagels and I am so pleased!!! The bagels are incredible and my neighbor jokes with me about having sent from NewYork but he never says no when I offer him a couple!! A taste of back East!!

I ordered 24 bagels from New Yorker Bagels, and they were shipped during the East Coast heat dome. When they arrived, the bagels had visible mold and were not safe to eat, making the entire order a total loss. I contacted New Yorker Bagels expecting a reasonable resolution given the circumstances. Instead, I was told that their bagels "do not mold" and was offered only a 15% discount on a future purchase. This response was disappointing for two reasons: it dismissed the evidence I provided and failed to address the fact that I received an unusable product. Regardless of the cause—whether extreme heat during transit or another issue—the customer received moldy food that could not be consumed. The shipping conditions were foreseeable given the well-publicized heat dome, and customers should not bear the financial burden when perishable products arrive spoiled. A 15% discount on a future purchase is not an adequate remedy for an order that was entirely inedible. I believe a full refund or replacement would have been a fair and appropriate resolution.

Pretty disappointing. Too airy for my liking. They squish down when you put the cream cheese on. Just like super market bagged bagels for twice the price.

Can’t express how disappointed I am in the quality of these bagels. IMO, the bagels you can buy at any supermarket in the country are far better better than these. The texture resembles packaged sliced bread and tastes similar. There is no “chew” to the bagel, and the uniform appearance of the bagels suggests they are mass produced and never touched by hand. They also did not taste fresh by any stretch of the imagination. The bagels in no way resemble any bagel I’ve eaten anywhere, not in appearance, and not how they taste. Outrageously expensive bagels that I would have been disappointed in even if they had been given to me free.

Not only are the bagels absolutely delicious if handled correctly and according to instructions, but also the customer service is top notch!! They will bend over backwards and response time is almost immediate. Also shipping is very quick! I am very pleased and will be a loyal customer since I live in Florida now and have missed good NY bagels!!

Terrible...I wish I had read the reviews before ordering, don't waste ur time and money
