I recently opened a personal savings account with Newtek. The application process was simple and quick. When I had log in issues their customer service representatives were incredibly helpful and quick to resolve the situation. My only caution is don’t call during high volume hours. Be patient because they do have great customer service! Deposits were easy. I have yet to transfer money out… just know you have to plan a few business days ahead to complete transfers. Even transferring into the account… You have to schedule with a minimum leadtime of 3 to 5 business days. It’s not instantaneous. So it’s not a savings account you can draw from without planning.

Newtek Bank offers highly attractive CD rates, making them a great choice for savers. Their online banking platform is simple, clear, and easy to navigate, which makes managing accounts stress-free. I was especially impressed with their customer support—Katie responded to my request promptly and ensured my transaction was completed on time. Excellent service and reliability!
