I just had the most amazing customer service experience yesterday and today. Newtek has been the online bank I've used for several years to benefit from its excellent interest rates on high yield savings accounts. When I realized that I had forgotten to transfer sufficient funds for my son's college tuition due tomorrow, I called Newtek to arrange a wire transfer. (Incidentally Newtek provides free wire transfers!) My very friendly customer service representative Ja'Kira stayed with me through several calls yesterday and today to ensure that the wire transfer went through, even when I screwed up the wire transfer form with my fat fingers and incorrectly input my own street numbers. (SMH--I am getting old.) In any case, big kudos to Newtek for their outstanding customer service. Relieved College Mom
