I’ve just ordered retainers as I have had my treatment done a while back but Invisalign was going to charge $480 for retainers. I should have just gone with Invisalign - I’ve taken around 30 practice impressions but can’t get them right and the email advice I get is really vague: “just move the tray forward”. The googled another site and got good advice that actually my front teeth do t need to touch the tray - I’ve been pushing it in too deep. I wish I could have been told that. It’s usually a week before you get an email response too. I’m awaiting reply to a request for a new impression kit. Buyer beware - just go with the professionals and pay the money.

I purchased a retainer cleaning device and in less than two weeks the blue light no longer worked. Upon contacting new smile, they required two videos and then said they would replace it as a one time courtesy but would not pay for shipping. Shipping is half the price of the product. Stay away from this company. Follow up- after several months and multiple emails, they replaced my unit without a fee and it has been working great. I appreciate that but wish it hadn’t been so difficult.

I spent an hour and a half with Lu on a video call to get my molds done. After several trial molds we did the final which Lu said looks perfect. I received an email two days ago saying that I needed to redo the molds and purchase another kit but that they would give me 59% off. I responded to that email as to why I needed to redo them when Lu said they were perfect and I haven’t gotten a response. This is frustrating as it took a lot of time to get the molds done and now I have to start over. Disappointed.

The trays were too big and it ripped my lips open on the conners trying to put the tray in my mouth. Then she said they're going to order smaller trays but she only ordered a smaller one for the top. I wish we had it ordered smaller trays before we started I wouldn't be in so much pain right now. Why would you guys send large trays to a female, kind of seems unthought out and disorganized. Why not send multiple sized trays, you just really inconvenienced me and caused me discomfort for seemingly no effin reason at all except laziness to not include extra size trays or cheapness I don't know one of the two. I don't remember the date of the meeting Y'all should have that in your system.

The process takes too long. I sent my impressions back weeks ago and got notice they needed to be redone. Which I had to pay for. It will easily be another month or two before I get my aligners.

I have waited months for my treatment plan. Now I have received my treatment plan they are unable to straighten my teeth after their website states their alligners help crowded teeth. This is false. You will require to pay an extra £2000-£4000 for IPR if your teeth is crowded. I have been going back and fourth via email and as soon as I have enquired about a refund I stopped receiving a response. Not acceptable.

After using NewSmile, two of my front teeth collide at an odd angle which prevents my other teeth from touching and makes it hard to chew most foods and impossible to chew many. I alerted NewSmile as this became a problem during the later months of my treatment. Prior to this my teeth were a bit crooked but worked just fine. After alerting NewSmile of the problem, they have asked me for more and more money to fix their negligence: two impression kits, new aligners, retainers and shipping. They also blamed me for the problem despite my teeth fitting their aligners perfectly. Halfway through treatment my dentist recommended that I wear each aligner set for three weeks instead of two. This was advice from a dentist who knows me, my X-rays, dental history and had just assessed my teeth in person. I notified NewSmile of my dentist’s recommendation in the next email I sent (the email they require containing pictures of your teeth in their current set of aligners, asking their approval to switch to the next set). NewSmile’s reply said my teeth looked good and if I’d worn the aligners 22 hours a day for two weeks (I had, two weeks plus one) then I was approved to use the next set! I continued to send them photos and updates every three weeks and they continued to APPROVE my progress and progression to the next step. Now that I have been substantially harmed by their product and am asking them to fix it, they are focused on the fact that I started wearing the aligners for three weeks at a time and state, “compliance is a big part of achieving the treatment preview goal”. I did comply at every step, kept them informed at every step, they approved my progress at every step and I did achieve the treatment goal. My teeth fit NewSmile’s aligners and retainers like a glove. THEIR PRODUCT HARMED ME. DO NOT USE NewSmile. Be careful, you have to live with what they do to you.
