Signing up was easy, and not paying a subscription fee is a huge perk. My real issue is the lack of communication between patient and doctor. I've been using Newself for 4 months now. When my newest subscription was delivered I was shocked to see that the compounding agent had been switched from b12 to glycine. There was no communication about this or any communication initiated on doctors part, ever. You get an email for a 2 week check in but that's not an in-depth overview (and I'm sure no live person actually reads it). It feels very impersonal, which, cool if that's your thing, but when your dosages are doubling I feel like there needs to be a conversation about whether the PAYING PATIENT wants to continue to increase or if staying stable is best. Some random pharmacy filled my rx both times, separate doctors. The whole thing feels a rad shady, but when your paying o.o.p I guess this is what you should expect.
