The bouquet arrived 2 days after the birthday, and edges were wilted. They just washed their hands off. No card, just a printed A4 paper. No chocolates. Cheesy stock apologies and point blank refused refund.

Hi Dr Nair, we’re very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations and understand your disappointment. We sincerely apologize that the bouquet arrived after the intended occasion and that the condition of the flowers upon arrival was not what you had hoped for. We also understand your concerns regarding the missing chocolates and the presentation of the gift message. While delivery delays and product availability can occasionally be impacted by factors outside our direct control, we recognize that this does not lessen the frustration when a gift intended for a special occasion arrives late and incomplete. We’re also sorry to hear that our responses left you feeling unsupported. Your feedback regarding delivery timing, product condition, missing items, presentation, and customer service has been shared internally for further review as we continue working to improve the customer experience. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

I live in Australia and needed to deliver flowers in New Jersey. It was a gamble for me to entrust New Jersey Blooms from so far away. But I am glad I did! They delivered on time, my partner received the bouquet and was pleased with the flowers. Thanks for keeping my trust NJB.

Hi Silvia, we’re very sorry to hear about your disappointment with the order. We understand how upsetting it must have been to expect an orchid plant for such a special birthday gift, only to have it replaced with a different plant that did not match the style or presentation you had selected. We sincerely apologize that the substitution did not meet your expectations and that you were not satisfied with the final gift received. At times, substitutions may be necessary due to inventory or availability constraints, particularly with live plants and floral products. However, we understand your concern that the replacement did not reflect the spirit of the original selection and caused disappointment for both you and your daughter-in-law. Your feedback is important to us and has been shared with our fulfillment team as we continue working to improve substitution practices and overall customer experience. Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback.

Horrible experience. Website misrepresented that flowers would arrive for Mothers Day. I then received verbal confirmation they would ship the day after Mother’s Day. They didn’t ship for a whole week. It was an embarrassment and I will never ever use Blooms ever again.
Response from New Jersey BloomsMay 25, 2026
Hi Charlie, we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand your disappointment, especially since this was meant to be a Mother’s Day gift. We sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the delivery expectations not matching the actual shipment timeline. We understand how upsetting it must have been to receive assurances that the order would ship shortly after Mother’s Day, only to experience a much longer delay. We also recognize how disappointing and embarrassing this situation can feel when sending a gift for such an important occasion. During major holiday periods, order volumes and carrier delays can sometimes impact fulfillment timelines more than anticipated, but we understand that this does not lessen the frustration you experienced. Your feedback is important to us and has been shared with our customer service and operations teams as we continue working to improve communication, delivery expectations, and overall customer experience during peak seasons.

The floral order (Order No. NJB725424) was placed with the expectation and guarantee that it would be delivered by Mother’s Day on May 10, 2026. Despite this promise and the additional delivery charges paid, the order was not delivered until May 20, 2026 ... 11 days late. The purpose of the gift was specifically for Mother’s Day, so the delayed delivery completely defeated the purpose of the purchase. In addition to the extreme delay, the flowers arrived in terrible condition, with multiple flowers spoiled and wilted upon arrival and the box barely holding together. The quality of the arrangement was far below what was advertised and expected. Customer service acknowledged the condition issues after reviewing photos submitted; but only offered a partial refund despite the order failing both in delivery timing and product quality. Given that the order missed the guaranteed holiday delivery window by 11 days and arrived damaged, a full refund should have been justified but was not granted. I hope anyone wanting to use this service reads this review and understands the terrible quality and service provided and that this experience caused significant disappointment and inconvenience for both me and my mother.

Hi Michael, we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand your frustration and disappointment surrounding this Mother’s Day order. We recognize how upsetting it must have been for a gift intended for such an important occasion to arrive well after Mother’s Day, especially when the timing of the gift was so important. We also sincerely apologize that the arrangement arrived in poor condition, with damaged packaging and flowers that did not meet expectations upon arrival. While we understand your concerns regarding delivery timing, we would also like to note that the shipping option selected at checkout was a non-guaranteed delivery method. During high-volume holiday periods and extended transit times, fresh floral arrangements can unfortunately become more vulnerable to quality issues while in transit. That said, we completely understand that this does not lessen the disappointment you and your mother experienced upon receiving the order. We appreciate you taking the time to provide photos and detailed feedback, and your concerns regarding both the delivery experience and product quality have been shared with our fulfillment and customer service teams for further review as we continue working to improve our processes and communication during peak holiday periods.
