Finding parts to repair older equipment, and ordering only what I need
I repair old automotive components such as airbag diagnostic modules, Constant control relay modules, and have to look hard to find suitable replacement components such as relays and thermal fuses. Tech support and customers service are very helpful and go out of their way to assist me on these searches. In addition I use transducers as part of an automotive diagnostic tool for engine and transmission testing. I had a brand new transducer go bad and they shipped me a new one at no charge in less than 24 hours. I must also comment on one of their key business practices that is critical the kind of work I do. There is no minimum order limit. When I was looking for replacement thermal fuses to fit a particular Ford airbag diagnostic module I found the part I needed at Newark and at another vendor. The other vendor had a minimum order amount so the cost of the replacement would have required buying 25 of the component I needed when I only need 3. At Newark I bought only the parts I needed and a few spares. That is much easier to deal with. Matt
