When I accepted my payment the price was $198.50 after a few days my credit card was charged two times. I called them so they could correct their mistake. They removed the extra charged payment the first time. After that I was charged $225.90.

I ORDERED 2 SIEMENS 30MM PUSHBUTTONS , I RECEIVED 2 SCHNEIDER PUSH BUTTONS . I WAS NOT TOLD THESE WOULD BE SUBBED .. WE ARE A SCHNEIDER DIST. !! I HAVE THESE BUTTONS ON THE SHELF AND COULD SELL THEM AT HALF THE PRICE OF YOURS .. THEN I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT SEND THEM BACK { BY STEVEN } THEN DELORES PURSUED ISSUE FOR ME TO DO RETURN .. STILL WAITING FOR RMA .. YOUR ORDER # 270948 .. KC

If the checkout page says they cannot calculate the postage, DON'T BUY. I did assuming the postage would be reasonable. I needed several EEPROMS, total cost $4.82, but the postage was $20. Newark's explanation was that it needed to be shipped overseas. But nowhere during the ordering process do they let you know that. I have been ordering parts from Newark for over 20 years, but I will no longer order from them unless they are the only ones that carry the product I need.

Hey, I ordered the receptacles for some plugs an some transponders we are working on. I had help from sales and your technical people. I assembled a small team 3 of us to use the receptacles to build some test stands. Unfortunately, no one on your side said that the pins in the receptacles had to also be ordered separately. No one mentioned that. they came, we sat, I paid my guys, and since we had no pins it was a day wasted. I ordered the pins Overnight, as I had a team. I asked if that is what I needed. Yes. They came. Right pins!! except no one said I needed spacers. I sent my guys home. We now have order the spacers and sleeves. 40 $ minimum order. They will come next week. I have not tied the other plug. I have Newark service expectations: it will be the wrong plug, and need extra parts and dealing with your company will consume hours of my time, staff time and your sales time while you screw me again and again for incomplete orders. what can I say? Could you do worse? Friendly folks in sales and support. Like them, but please - I never want to do business with you again, unless I know exactly what I what down to the finest detail. Part/Newark # are useless if you need multiple parts to make something work - like a receptacle. perhaps a little product familiarity with multi-part products would be useful, unless you only want unhappy pissed off ex-customers spreading the word. I purchased three Amphenol connectors and found out after I received them, that they we're not keyed right. I was off by one digit on the part number. Newark didn't allow me to return these connectors because they said that Amphenol does not allow returns. I do not know the exact dollar amount that Baker Hughes spends with Amphenol, but, I imagine it is a considerable amount considering that Baker Hughes is an international company, and, for us not being able to return an item simply because of an honest mistake, really is unacceptable to me. I'll make every effort to purchase from other vendors from now on.
