Not very impressed with check out system. Selected my items and became confused as I could select a wide varitity of shipping methods. But no numbers came up for shipping not even at final payment. I assumed since all the times would easily fit into a usps envelope it would be cheap. Completed my transaction and sent a message to customer support. Which resulted in a nonproductive reply. About web page not knowing weight or size of items. Well why can every other Online web site calculate shipping. Any ways next day I get email at 10pm at night with final total. And I sent a reply ASAP as to cancel the order. Which I'm told it's shipped and only way to cancel is to return it? Ok brilliant pay to ship it back. Thanks guys great work, first and last order Good day

was told my order would ship the same day I ordered it. Just found out that it just shipped a week later

We are a CM based in Oregon. We do several hundred thousand dollars worth of business with Digikey, Arrow, Avnet and we only use Newark when we have to. Had a couple reps, they were phased out. Now I deal with whoever answers my CS calls. Usually Findchips says you have stock, but it never pans out when I go to place my on line order. Especially when Farnell is involved. Just had a recent order where your Farnell site showed stock. Your website didn't. After a call I got a quote and parts were in stock at Farnell. So I asked to ship complete. Then I noticed I never got a ship notice. When I went online-the ship date changed. Never an explanation as to why. Asked for an expedite--got an email saying ok it was expedited. Then I got another backorder delay notice-now for a month! Again no explanation. Today my line is down because I forgot I had a ship complete on the order and my other parts still where here! I had to call, and request they remove the ship complete, and ship overnight on my account! Still no idea when the Farnell parts will ship.

We ordered 3 of a component and only 2 were in stock. We were told the 3 part would ship in 3 days but we never received. We called back and found that the 3rd component had been ordered under the wrong part number and would not ship for another 2 months. This was unacceptable and we still have not received the 3rd component.

The item I order was to be shipped in 7-10 days. After 14 days, they extended it to 21 days. It took them about 5 weeks to ship it, and when they did, they used over night shipping at my expense. The most expensive shipping possible. I could have ordered it from the US for $28.85 with free shipping, but thought it would be quicker to order from someone in Canada. It ended up costing me about $66. When I finally received the item which I thought was going to be new, I was surprised to open the package and see a used part. It had a ring around it where the previous bracket held the part, and there were scratches down the sides where the part was removed from the previous bracket. Overall, I will never order from them again, and would discourage everyone from using this company.

Getting constatly logged out. Having shopping cart randomly appear and disappear with contents Not making it at all obvious if promised discount was actually given At least one "next day ship" item wasn't shipped until the day after... (and no obvious adjustment) trying to create an account in the US, and ending up in the Canadian site? Lack of carryover of account info from "RoadTest" area to ordering page.... Overall, a great advertisement - for Mouser and Digikey....

I paid for next day expedite delivery Thursday and did not get til Saturday. At the end of the day I paid 100+ in shipping EXTRA for $30 worth of parts to miss my deadline.

-Creating an account returns 403 error -Before choosing your payment method you are asked some numbers you can't provide. -Tries to sell you outdated products on canadian store without notifying buyers -website UI drawn at random -other surprises that have yet to be discovered Basically, every single action done on element14 is twice as painful as it would be on a good shopping website. It's just like they want us not to buy anything from them, except they know we don't have a choice because of their monopoly on raspberry pi products.
