Same issue as others. Ordered 2 ounces of parts for $17.52. Website stated $0 for shipping no matter what service you picked (UPS) After placing order CC was charged for $17.52. Parts arrived and then discovered a second CC charge for $141.38 with over $113 charged to ship 2 ounces of parts. Not only that it included a second $17.52 charge for the same parts. Also I never registered so never authorized them to retain CC information for additional charges. Got typical song and dance from the "chat" agent not worth the hassle to dispute it with the CC bank. Don't buy here. "Your order reference number is: 4/21/19 9.52 AM"

I ordered something on the weekend they told me the shipping was a zero after it calculated it in check out and then when i hit place order. After it was placed the order the total of 16 to 57 me it charged me four times what the part cost for shipping after say it was zero. and wouldn’t let me cancel it because it was the weekend. I instantly tried to cancel but there was no cancel button like there website says. I called all of their customer service numbers and online help is closed for the weekend I honestly think they purposely set their site up to screw people on the weekend. I believe they dont calulate shiping on purpose and take down the cancel button. because there’s absolutely nothing you can do to stop Charges.

I placed an order with this 'company'. My account has been charged twice - and I've received no shipping confirmation. I can't even pull up my original order on their site.

Do not waste your time with this company. They are living in the 1990s. I ordered a UK warehouse in-stock product on 4/23, told 5-7 days shipping. Now on 5/8, no delivery. The CSRs cannot see any information on the order, no ship date, no tracking number, nothing. I was told that they need to call the UK warehouse to get any information and that takes 24-48 hours to get a reply, "as they are in a different timezone". What told BS. Mouser is now shipping me the products overnight, should have stayed with a proven supplier.

Giving 1 star because I can't give 0. Their site says "unparalleled customer service" that's because nobody else would dare stoop so low. I made an order and had the money pending in my bank account. Got an email confirming order and saying it would ship soon. After a few days nothing changed. After a few more days the pending payment disappeared. Going through their order number information page it claimed there was no order with my credentials. I remade the order. Same thing happened. After a couple days I ordered from another company. Then a day or two later BOTH payments came back as pending. Contacted support. They directed me to email one of their departments. I asked for an explanation. Got no reply. I told them to cancel both orders. Got no reply. A couple days later 1 order disappeared from my pending payments on my bank account. Contacted support again. They had cancelled 1 but not both and still never replied to y inquiries or cancellation request. Support cancelled the second order. Still don't know why newark refused my money, but their competitors are happy to have it.

If you are a hobbyist buying couple of things for yourselves, it is ok. If you are a business dealing with order of hundreds, stay away from Newark Element 14. Doing business with them is worse than talking to your own hands. Customer service is like shlt, no live chat, answering email in a week, calling with no one picking up, and knowing nothing even canceling the paid order. Shipping got delay for 10 days without notice (ok maybe because of snowstorm - in NY) but well, not a single word. Another shipment got back order for 5 months.

Order held for 2 weeks. I called at Noon because an instock order was not being shipped for two weeks. Placed on hold for over 15 minutes with the excuse "Billing department is an hour behind us." then I was told the problem was I placed the order online. If you are ordering parts and expect delivery on a timely basis you better look elsewhere.

I spoke with Newark prior to placing an order I needed ASAP. The gentleman I spoke with told me the manufacturer had stock and they could ship next day. When my order was still being processed three days later, I tried to cancel. The person I spoke with on Friday said he would need to call the factory before he could cancel the order and I should call back if no one from Newark contacted me. I received an email on Monday stating my order shipped and could not be canceled. However, my order did not ship until Monday.
