Either be named Element 14 or Newark or Si silicon 28 or whatever. But have one name. I have 500+ suppliers, I don't need to remember not just their name so I know I am sending emails to the right supplier, but their old name, some type or stage or product name, the names of different CSR so I know which of the eight people I might need to be ordering from that time. It would be such much easier to have PCA_orders@element14 dot com.

Newark has been a vendor of our for many years and our portfolio with them is sizable. My only suggestion to Newark is to be sure to send quotes for updated pricing and confirmations via e-mail, rather than exclusively by phone.

When I am ordering multiple items on one purchase order and can be combine in one box but shipping in separate boxes are causing more freight charges when using our account #. That's need to be improve how to pack multiple items in one box or minimize # of boxes it depends of items and quantity order.

The packaging of the shipment was all mangled up when arrived. One of the item in the box was hanging half-way outside of the packaging. And the IC tubes insdie were bent (the legs of the ICs in the tubes at the bent were damaged). Although it can be blamed on UPS's bad handling, but I thought the packaging itself was pretty lousy as well.

Hello and thank you for the feedback. We did review the packing requirements for all 3 items in your order today. The tubes are the best option, and it appears it had some rough handling in the shipping process. If you would like, you can contact our sales and service center to request a claim with UPS on this shipment.

Make certain that when checking out you check the box that says something like "ship all items together". Unfortunately I didn't and the order got split up into 3 separate shipments. I ended up spending more for shipping than the items cost. I couldn't start my project anyway until the last line item arrived (transistor). Curiously this item showed 61 available when I placed the order. Aside from the shipping issue, all items were received in good condition and the prices (sans shipping) were very reasonable.

Thank you for the information. We do have the option on our site, to ship everything at once, but we will take a look to see if this option can be more evident, so that you have a clear choice.
