Called in for a quote, agent told me there was a 10% discount if I ordered online. Went to check out, couldnt get 10% discount to register, asked Agent for help, told me the promotion as no longer availabe, this is 2 minutes later, we were on the phone together the entire time, then he put me on hold and dropped my call.

Ordered a product that cost about $15 and requested it to be shipped next day air for $88 as it was critical to get the product the next day. Payment went through our credit card but when I reached out to Newark was told there was some type of hold on the card...........not true. Was then told to send an email to have the order released, whatever that means, it's tomorrow and I needed the product.

Never again, this place is an absolute circus. I’ve directed my team of buyers to stop all orders from Newark because the place just isn’t reliable, plain and simple. Order 96515. States 3 days to receive . I make payment then date changes to 2 weeks to receive. I then try to cancel order and Newark refuses. It’s bait and switch kind of fraud.

This is a scam, ordered products worth $131.67 I placed order on 6/6/21 23:34 PM and money has been deducted from my credit card. But order status is on hold for a month and they never contact me. I contacted to support chat two weeks ago, they wrote that I need contact to credit card department. I wrote to CC department several times and they never responded to me. I called them yesterday and they told that will release my order from hold, but nothing happens. Need to contact BBB. Order 995344

Horrible customer service.Terrible website setup. No place to do a net 30 account application,cant manually set up a business account,took 2 weeks to get my account setup from customer to business. Unknowing they would be closing early 6-18-21 4 hrs early.They wasn't even completely closed I begged customer service to take my payment so it wouldn't affect my paydex score.I had to make my payment on monday.They have lost a client.I give them zero stars.pick another company for that paydex score.[reply:below it says you were off that day but customer service was still taking payments.CS didnt take my payment 6-18.please investigate and get all the facts in order.And do have them report my payment to D&B so my company can get its paydex score. Ms.MAAS stated my payment would not be reported. I just want to get everything done correctly and move on for the sake of my company.No more mistakes,I just can't accept anymore.]

I placed a really urgent order on a Friday at 6:30 PM which is half an hour before the cut off for the most expensive shipping option. The order was never processed and was just sitting in their system. No customer service on weekends. Had to call early Monday and get them to manually release the order for processing and go for shipping. Very unreliable.

Placed an order for 3 parts 5/30. My bank flagged Newark as fraud. Cleared that up on Monday and talked to Newark over chat. I was assured that the order would be shipped Monday. Got busy that week and it slipped my mind. Realized Friday that I hadn't received any communication from them. Got on chat Friday morning and was told that the order was not processed. That person couldn't take care of it so they told me to call. Phone system says press 1 to place an order or send an e-mail to track an order. Pressed 1 because I want to talk to a person. The 4th person finally was able to find the order. Said the card had a problem that that I needed to enter it on my phone. I did and he kept asking me if I was entering it on my phone. Then he asked for my phone number so he could call me back. At that point I said this was seeming suspicious and that I wanted to cancel my order. Guy said sorry and hung up. I called my bank immediately and told them to block any charges from Newark. They obviously use overseas customer support. The call was poor quality and some of the agents were hard to understand. Back to Digi-Key and Mouser for future orders. I'd bought parts from Newark in the past, but never again. What happened to them?

I wish I could give a zero star review. I placed an order for 5 line items, the order was confirmed and now 6 days later when I called to check on the order after about an hour of getting transferred and dropped calls 4 of the 5 line items are no longer available. I can not begin to express how frustrating this whole experience has been. I will do everything possible to avoid this vendor.
