Ive gotten a lot of stuff on here some good, some bad & some really bad. You just kind of take a chance that all the pieces will be there & nothing is broken.Even with their 5 star system, 5 stars is sapposed to mean that the item is next to new & as close to retail as u can get, 4 means its been used and so on. You cant trust it, I only bid on 5star items & have had many missing important parts like a love seat thats missing the arms & eyelashs that are missing all but 3. Why would that even get listed instead of thrown in the trash? So yeah you can get lucky, you got about a 50/50 chance. Kinda like going to central city.

I have a lot of things that are bought that are not good about some Sundays that were lit a botsan shoes for water that were ripped. I bought some high heels that were really hard about electric products. They are not good, I bought. Electric vacuum cleaner? It doesn't work. I bought electric steamer. Do not work. I bought it, shower bat that they said it was new, and it was broke. So this can

Staff is super and friendly. The items you buy just be aware that these items are usually returns, defective returns, and even swapped out deceptive returns. Open what you can on site and return at the same time to avoid head ackes and additional time. Expect 60% of what you buy to be toss away or a return. If you have a portable power station and buy something electric... bring it with you to test. Like any auction, use common sense and don't expect non seen purchases to be perfect. But it's fun right.. take that in mind and good luck.

I love Nellis Auction and I have purchased probably around a hundred items from them. The fact that they have raised their minimum bid price is such a bummer. I would bid on soooooo many more items if they still started them at $1. So many things no one is gonna buy that I would take off their hands, but if the bid starts at $8, no way! Go back to the $1 starting bids! I’m sure they will lose no money doing this.

Loosing confidence FAST! Yes you can find some awesome deals on Nellis. But in the past 3-4 months about 2/3 of our winnings have been broken or defective. Now THEY are setting a minimum bid on things that are too frequently trash. Bidding is no longer fun, time to Stop!

****I Love a Good Auction **** However the new Location NJ is a bit of a challenge - it started off great and I got a few good deals , but it has become Painfully obvious they have a few bidders for Nellis Auction in place bidding against you , which is somewhat normal but they are so obvious , it’s ridiculous! I’ve been involved in auctions a long time and it’s easy to tell when the auctioneer is bidding against you. Also the constant resetting of the clock is normal but I believe the legal limit is 3x’s for an auction. They just seem to go around way too many times. There used to be majority of slightly damaged products which I am always willing to buy , but the last couple Of days has been 90% USED products which I try never to buy as I don’t know where that’s been. COVID taught us that! So I am inclined to believe the previous reviews about the bait and switch. I had some incorrect items received but it was resolved timely just inconvenient when I purchased something to go with that item and now don’t have that item. Anyway this place is *** hit or mis***. I like the pickup convenience but everything else is a toss up! I’ll continue with some of my old Auctions which are very reliable and if I find something here great and if not. No loss!

Sometimes you will get a great deal but be aware that most of the items for auction are items that people have returned to Amazon or other retailers because they didn't work or were missing parts or they just weren't satisfied with the item, Also the pictures and descriptions Nellis uses are most often stock photos from Amazon and not necessarily the item your actually receiving, I often find that the auction items estimated retail price is sometimes higher than you could buy the item outright from other retailers. Nellis will gladly return items that can be re-auctioned Do your due diligence and have fun.

"Let the Bidder Beware" !! I don't know who is setting the actual price of some of these items (ex: $559.00 for a PVC folding table $60 on amazon, $1245.99 for a $34 wine rack, just to mention a few). I have notified CS on occasion, but no actual response. please inspect your item at pickup location, I have won bids on new items only to find they are damaged upon pickup. Other than these issues I have saved a lot of money on some great items. In the long run, do your research, overbidding the value of an item you can get from amazon for less is not worth the frustration of a bidding war with an unaware bidder. I always set a percentage of the actual price as to what I will pay/bid, ex 30%. Good Luck with your bidding!
