Well there are some good deals but it is a scam. I was bidding on an item at I believe the dean martin in Las Vegas. It was the last minute so every time you bid it resets to 30 seconds. I stopped bidding because I didn’t want the item that bad. So it’s getting to the final seconds and the last person that bid retracted their bid with like 7 seconds left. So I won on my last bid. I didn’t know you can retract a bid. Turns out you can’t retract a bid. They are bidding on their own stuff to jump up the price. Never get the pallets of mixed items this is the garbage they couldn’t do anything with. 3/4 of the variety boxes don’t have any information on what it is. Again I stopped bidding on a variety box and someone else won. But can you guess who that was? It was relisted the very next day. Ok that could be someone changing their mind. But after seeing someone retract a bid who knows what to expect!

On this day I had to pick up of several items. Fortunately I opened a couple before I left and found out they were the wrong items. The description of what I paid for did not match what was in the box. At least I didn't have to make a return trip. I was also picking up an order for another person. After 15 minutes I asked if someone could check on it and was told they were busy. 5 minutes later I flagged down a person and ask them if they could help me. This gentleman was very helpful. But first he said she didn't have an order, then told me she hadn't paid for it, and then had no idea where it was. Long story short, they had given her package to someone else. This is not my best day at the Phoenix location. Up until this point I've had no problems.

Although many items to choose from and some great deals, it always seems I get a broken item, missing an item, or some electronic that doesn't work - hit or miss

I had a very disappointing experience. I won an auction item and paid all required fees in good faith, but the item was later taken away from me without a clear explanation. After investing my time and money, I expected the company to honor the sale or at least provide a reasonable solution. I contacted them for an explanation and resolution, but the situation remains unresolved. This experience has made me question the fairness of the process and the level of customer service provided. I am sharing my experience so that other buyers can be aware and carefully review the auction terms before bidding. I hope the company takes responsibility and works toward a fair resolution.

Nellis listing and receipt clearly stated “CAP Barbell 55 lb Pair of Adjustable Dumbbells,” and the listing photo showed two dumbbells. I paid $221.84 total, which is consistent with buying a pair. At pickup I received only one dumbbell. Amazon sells the single version for about $115, so receiving only one means I substantially overpaid and the item was not as described. This looks like Nellis may have copied a stock product page/title for a pair, but the actual item provided was only a single. Unless they can provide the missing second dumbbell, this should have been handled as an incomplete/misdescribed item. Buyers need to be very careful with Nellis listings that use stock photos or copied product descriptions, because what you receive may not match the title, receipt, or photos.

If Nellis Auctions wants to stay in business, they need to do more quality control of their products that are being purchased. Case and point: I have returned over 15 items that are supposedly (5 star quality rating). Once you click on the item to view, it will say used, functional, No Damage, Assembly required, etc. However, I have to return back to auction location to return damaged items or none functional. You guys have a good thing going, just work on your quality control of your product. I think in the end, it will make you more profitable.
