They're kind of a joke...empty boxes, broken/dirty used items (described as new). Use lots of AI, and little judgment (shocker, since every one of their workers is a room-temperature IQ mook under age 25)

I have been shopping Nellis Auction for almost 2 years. But in the last 6-7 Months they have really gone down hill. Averaging a couple returns each weekend when I pick up because items are broken or the wrong item brought out of the warehouse. And I learned to return right there if possible by carefully inspecting each item before driving off. Open every box if taped shut. Sometimes it is something you did not win or is broken. Like t shirts instead of a stereo. I even had won and paid for online 22 items I won , paid over $300 dollars and went to pick up and they could not find any of all those items. All 22 were missing. Then you have to wait over a week to get a refund. Support is via email. And if you get a response , and I mean if, it can be days. In the 2 years been shopping with them spent thousands of dollars, but now when you go there it is hit or miss the items are what you paid for or they can find your items even though they were suppose to be in one large bundle for pick up. Sad, before was a nice place to get bargains.

The auction descriptions are grossly inaccurate. Items described as new are clearly used, and items described as functional do not work. You can get some great deals here, but be prepared to make an extra trip to return most of your wins when they turn out to be junk. This is especially true of any electronic kitchen or personal care items.

Don’t buy anything unless it’s factory sealed 70 to 80% of the time that they advertise no it’s been used sent back and missing parts The people that inspect the product do not look at anything all they do is put tape on it, put it back in the box and put it up for sale It’s very frustrating and Nellis does nothing about it Every time I return something, I tell them what they did wrong and still over and over and over same product same way Don’t buy anything unless it’s stacked resealed This happens all the time 70 to 80% of the time very disappointing. I’ve talked to some of the employees that have to take the returns back out in the parking lot and they know what’s going on. They say yes it’s frustrating to them too. The employees on the inside of the plant are the ones that do not inspect and write good descriptions of the product and I believe management just doesn’t care.

For the past year or so there are people bidding over what the item sells for by the posted estimated cost and then most all is returned by nellis auction rules of returned items. Then the same items are posted again and I've written down the item numbers I bid on and they are the same items for days that I'm bidding on because somebody wants to play games on the bidding platform. It's getting real old dealing with people don't do their jobs nor do they properly write comments on damage nor do they check it for damage. I've gotten door womens shirts Spaghetti strap shirts in place of new mens underwear that I won on a bid. The answer I hear from nellis alot is we can't check everything. People use to get lots of auction deals here but now it's just another store for people to shop at. Unreal that people don't add to their bid the fees and taxes that go onto the final cost.

I was sent a $10 voucher to entice me to buy again, so I did. But, the $10 was not applied to my purchase. When I asked, I was told sometimes there's a glitch, but they couldn't do anything about it.

What happened to Nellis Auction? Not only did they change their bidding policy/procedure, but the items are now mostly broken or used; which is disgusting when considering some of the items. Used blankets, bedding and dog beds,...Ewwwwww! I used to purchase countless items from this site, however, it now has become a huge disappointment. Every time I try to give them another chance, it ends up being the same let down. Sad, their days appear to be numbered with the way it's going. I can get this crap at garage sales.

My wife and I have purchased hundreds of items from Nellis Auction over the past several years. We live in Las Vegas. Our experience in the past was very positive. The selection of items available were very good and the majority of the time the items were as described and in good condition. Over the past several months the available items has decreased significantly, and many items I have purchased are broken, missing parts, or not as described. I've seen many items that I returned as defective and obviously broken and unusable were posted again on the site with no mention it is broken. Raising the minimum bids is also a change I don't like. I'm assuming that since MAC.BID opened in Las Vegas the end of 2024 they are getting most of the Amazon returns which would explain what I am seeing.
