Deceptive Company
I placed an order on NatureHills.com for Purple Robe Locust Tree. After placing the order, I called a cousin who warned me about the tree so I called them within the same hour of purchasing and requested to cancel after I couldn't find a way to do it on my own on the website. The first time I called, I spoke to Barry who claimed he could provide me with a gift card for a future purchase, the second time I called, I was told the same thing. Both times I was advised the terms and conditions has the cancellation policy, which is not in the first fold of the page and isn't typical for a purchase path decision. Typically cancellation fees are prominent in or above the first fold of a websites page. I tried explaining this both times and no resolution was found. I attempted to cancel my order both times but they advised I have to accept either a gift card, hold of fund for future purchase or a refund reduced by the 10% cancellation fee. It's a deceptive business practice and not inline with what other online nurseries charge. I have filed a complaint with Nebraska AGO for the deception and am waiting for a response.
