I had actually unsubscribed from Natural Retreats emails as I was so annoyed with my latest experience using the company..but unsurprisingly, they ignore that also and spam me with this review request. I stayed in the Castlemartyr resort twice in May due to family circumstances. The first time..in the lodges...we had to share our lodge with an ant infestation. The "manager" on duty treated it as a common occurrence and laid down insecticide in the path of my 4 year old...The second time (because we had to!) we stayed in the mews and failed to get any sleep due to the rowdiness of a wedding party next door....no attempt made to segregate families from revelers (should be an easy thing to do given age profile of guests)..I was told there was nothing that could be done locally and was actually reprimanded by self same "manager" for complaining to the lady on duty who had recently suffered a personal tragedy! (undefined) I was told somebody from Natural Retreats would call me to discuss my situation...but never heard from the company again....I unsubscribed from their mailing list (although they still mail me obviously) and will never again frequent the establishment...Perhaps we were unlucky but some things are just plain unacceptable..
