I booked a spring break vacation for my family with Marriott Homes & Villas. We were meeting family flying from England to South Carolina. COVID-19 hit. My family was denied entry into the US because of covid-19 in England. At the same time... People in my home state were told not to leave their homes. Natural Retreats took our money and refuse to refund it. We are out $3,300!!! Absolute crooks. Our family still cannot travel to the US, so a 1-year extension means nothing to us. In fact, one grandparent now has cancer and we need that $3,300 now to visit our family in England when we finally are able! I do not feel safe to travel to South Carolina which does not keep covid-19 in check. The company refuses to budge. Do not book with them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Marriott should sever the relationship it has with them.

Upon arriving, we see there is food on the steps & something that resembles vomit on the porch. The recliner is broken, the trash cans on the front porch are full of trash and open food! The poole table is missing a ball, and no chalk. the bed is half ass made, the closet is open and overflowing with Christmas decor. The night stand upstairs literally only has 2 legs, the others fell off when trying to move it. The broom is caked in dust and hair, because ...why clean that crap out before new tenants are visiting.. And the A.C. is set to HEAT! IT WAS A LOVELY 80 DEGREES, IN LATE JULY! THE LAUNDRY ROOM DOOR IS BROKEN OFF THE TRACK, THE LIGHTES ON HOT TUB DONT WORK. The cabin next door has open food containers and trash strewn around the yard. Check-In was at 5 p.m. for "extra cleaning" , and yet... it seems that small detail was forgotten. And all of these amenities are available for a small fee of $1000.00 for 4 days. So come on down... this place is a freaking gem! Will never stay here again! "Bare naked"

What a horrible way to treat people during COVID-19. Cancel a reservation and not allow to get a refund. You will get a credit for something you will never use. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE THEIVES!

We had planned months in advance to vacation in a Natural Retreats property. We had booked the propert through BoutiqueHomes.com. The booking was confirmed through their site and we had exchanged several emails confirming the trip. It even showed "Booked" on BoutiqueHome.com. John, the Natural Retreats rep, said we could expect check-in information exactly two weeks prior to our stay. 1 week before check0in we had not received anything, so I followed up with an email. A day later I received a canned response staying they would no longer be able to offer the rental property to us. They offered no way of fixing their issue. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Natural Retreats.

I booked a house hosted by this company for a short trip. This damn company didn't tell me anything about the unavailability until one day before my trip. I asked for other options but waited for the response for a whole day!!! Never do any business or reservation with this company!

My poor experience is similar to others that posted here - avoid doing business with them! My family travels extensively and will go out of our way to avoid any Natural Retreat property moving forward.

Worst company I’ve ever interacted with. Don’t ever book travel with them. Keeping our entire $8400 due to COVID-19. I’m sure you’ll this company will be out of business shortly so don’t take a credit.
